Are there normally robot spaceships by the lakes near jason centre?

There even was one robot ship hovering over there in "old times" (before VU10). Theoretically, the ships were used by "the robots" to send down forces (drones, warriors and others).
There also (before VU10) was one west of Fort Troy, and if I remember right one pretty close to "rig revival" (to give a general direction between oil rig and twin peaks).

There only was one in each area though.

Back then they only had to do with the robot spawns themselves; the beacons you could get from mining "anywhere" (even Amethera).

As for the beacon missions; it was shown that the old beacon mission locations were located high above calypso (satellites?) at the same location the beacon would be activated. Now it's pretty cool to be able to get a glimpse of the robot homeworld. It would be fun to see how it looks outside the beacon areas (the "path").
