I think it's because now you have to carry all bps with you and can't keep them in storage
Seems like crafting machine don't know that storage exists.

I have same problem with being unable to craft unless have BPs in carried inventory. Yet other soc mates can use as normal. No way I am going to keep moving BPs to and from storage. I have busy shops as well as needing stock for the ships skill runs. I don't have the time to keep working out which books I need.

UPDATE: Fredelig posted in discord that if you tick the 'inventory only' button and then untick the machine operates as normal. But you will have to do this every time you open terminal. Works for me for both BPs and Mats, so good luck to others

Temporary solution:

Click new "Inventory only" check box (so its on) (its near "Filter" where you sellect what BP to craft)
Click new "inventory only" check box (so its off)
Now everything should work as before.

Seems to be fixed now, at least for me and a buddy.

Edit: Nm, when i closed the machine and opened it again the bp's were once again no longer there.

Now its completly intermittent for me, but after letting all of the tabs in both storage and inventory "repopulate" it seems to work 90% of the time, letting you see all bp's and clicks.

From today's release notes:

• Checkbox for using inventory only when constructing
• The Auto Construction is now also prioritizing inventory first

After investigating, it seems the "Inventory only" checkbox is on by default when you first enter the game after the update, but the UI does not show it being toggled. This means only things you have in inventory are visible in the crafting window.

Try pressing the "Inventory only" button in the first Construction window a couple of times, and see if it helps (make sure to let the game load for a few seconds after you press it).

I'll mention it to the responsible team, so they can look into it.
