2 HL14's off fresco isn't a great run. They drop HL14's often. However solo hunting mobs with decently high hp like that, that is a great return imo.

Go do 10+ 80k ammo runs, and perhaps you'll get lucky with more breakeven runs or a 500-+ hof or two.

My wife and I recently hunted them for around 2 weeks, very long hours per day, and the best we managed was around 400-500p hofs. We did of course get to witness 4 uberloots during that timeframe though, we just missed out.

I never had any luck on Frescos and looking at my outfit, I really wonder why anyone hunting them would need a Fapper. Ok, for me it is quite a pain to hunt up to Guardian, but until Provider it is somehow manageable and I only got Gremlin+5Bs. And I think the toughest gun I used was a HL11+A103.
Not saying that my hunting style is anyway eco, just wondering why one would need a Fapper for those (especially if one can afford a Dante and surely has a whole range of armours better suited for those than a Gremlin)

hmmm, the first week i cleared out Myrene the big Itumatrox LA, too bad i told Armin about it, then after the announcement of SGA i thought a warmup on medium Ambus might do the trick, after 6 or 7 t-bird shins i gave that up, it does not pay. Losses were high. Then yesterday night on huge Longus 2 globals and an esi --> believe it or not 250ped loss. Lead by tiny shiny imk2 signs in my eyes i did this again today --> loss! So i asked one of the most dedicated and reputable hunters what i do wrong and what mob i should try. He said Fresc, so i gave it a try. Second mob 240peder HL14, a good start, the run ended the same way, it was actually a great run --> 5ped profit

Lets say besides the first friday night i ended up with a ridiculous loss shooting between 80k and 150k ammo each and every day. Now that we got SGA and no hangar and a situation where none of my mining tricks seem to work anymore (besides mining was buged a lot check my bugreport) i thought its a good idea to use my hunting skills, which are actually too good to be unused and too noob to hunt Dasps.

So i appreciate all good ideas and TLC, ignore your -reps and just want to give a shoutout to MA the god of decay: Man you suck!
 
I do understand your frustration... been there done that. It is sad that one of the best runs finishes with 5 ped profit while other runs finishes with -300 ped+ on regular basis. I depo recently 1500 ped and with 11 globals over 2 days i finished with 2 ped on my ped card with no clothes armor gun or fap...ma just needed 6 days to take whats their... again

You been here longer than me, you should know as well as I do that 100$/day is about the average fee MA charge at the door for you to roll the dice.

i had this also, ur globalling twice for total 190 ped in a run with 300 peds and ur total outcome is +5 ped...

its just that u had the first good loot for ages but in the end u didnt make up ur losses even a little bit

OK...it boggles the mind that you can get all that and still not break even. No slight to you. That to me looks like a "successful" hunter. You should be rol.ling in dough. Can I do better than this? No. Why should I ever play again, MA? Remind me?

Yes there is not much to whine in a profit run but if that run is the best in a dozen and it's only a little profit you get in troubles.

The lows are bad - guess i am in one right now as my last 4 runs were 30% average (400ped runs each) and in the last 8 i managed to get 3 globals. Ok i'm in a low but it's getting really dark down here...
 
I camped Fresco pretty hard core a few months back. I turned over about 5000 peds a day using HL8 (L)(8-10 2 A106 Amp hunts) for several weeks. My numbers told me where my losses went. In the end it was pretty successful I was -1000 overall but gained a shit load of skills.

You have to remember a few things.
1) You were hunting on taxed Land 4% ads up fast on my 5K a day that would be 200 ped I would loose in taxes
2) When I hunted fresco I paid nearly 10% in defense decay (armor and fap) my overall numbers show me my TT returns does not go up as I spend more on armor and fap decay.

What did that mean, my overall TT return was about 85% 4% loss on taxes 9-10% losses on defense decay (a few percent on L Gun MU etc) means add all those back in I would have been near TT even. When I hunt lower end mobs with no taxes I get a closer to even TT return, but I usually sacrifice some markup.

So really with all those additional costs you should expect to be near even on Fresco with MU at best and big losses (15% adds up quick) when items are not dropping.

Seriously guys, he was honest from the begining that he was angry not whiny, and even though his reasons will make us cringe, we have to respect them, of course by posting it in a public forum is like wearing a neon target in the back during nightime in the PVP zones.

hopefully he did not say anything to offensive.

what TT's were the 2 hl14 (L) , with that amount of ammo and 2 more globals then i consider it pretty nice with 5 ped profit mate :D

I have been trying that the past days, first with ouzo and today with vodka.
Ok, primarly to get rid of a bad coughing and secondly to get drunk, but it did surely not improve my loot. Seriousesesly it wash harderd than evered :D

Maybe simply do the same thing as allways, take a few days off, rethink it and think if it really is _THAT_ important, because it aint :D
Chance to get an SGA item is around 1:10 at your level and you still got almost 3 months :D

Isn't that exactly how MA designed it. If there was an easily accessible way, they'd go bankrupt pretty quickly.

I thought people hunted for fun?
