I am sure some soc members will join the ranks of support when possible. But I agree we need more support ;)

So who else wants to sign up for Team Amethera ??? :silly2:
 
Uncle Sam != Amethera

OP should consider replacing Uncle Sam with a Trilomite or something.

If WoF is gonna have these lame teams that don't represent any real nation, at least you jokers could find an original mascot.

I beg you pardon... the only "real" teams here are Amethera and Eudoria... I have no idea why you are staying on this planet at all if you still crynig after long lost eathly nations ... :wtg:

I see where you are coming from though... the Team Amethera recruiting thread is clearly the best and most colourful ;) (In comparison to Team USA anyway :silly2:)
 
Just trying to spark some originality and maybe some creativity with humor.

You can do better than re-purposing an icon from a specific country to promote your efforts.

It was not the most original poster, but as I see it the obvious rip-off was meant in humour :)

We also have our unique Amethera logo thanks to JJ (see my signature).

I like the talking trilo idea, we should use that next year :laugh:

It's kinda sad to see this post from you Rei, insulting everyone here. Especially when based on something that was actually a British recruiting poster that came out years before Uncle Sam.

A few respectful words would've gone a long way; also, please make an effort and realise that this is a game!

Here are the results of the WoF 2011 Stage 3 Draw.
Teams were first seeded as High, Middle or Low seeds, according to last year’s performance; then three draws were conducted for positions 1,2 and 3.

Team Italy
Team New Zealand

Group 2:
Team Australia
Team Portugal
Team The winner of the mini-Qualifiers (Estonia or Rocktropia or any new teams)

Group 3:
Team BeNeLux
Team Finland
Team Denmark

Group 4:

Team Canada
Team Eudoria

Team Sweden

Team South Africa

Group 6:
Team DACH

The Stage 3 Schedule: Your next two hunts.

April 2nd/3rd:
France v New Zealand
Australia vs Winners of the Mini-Qualifier
BeNeLux vs Denmark
England vs Eudoria
Sweden vs South Africa
DACH vs Amethera

April 9th/10th:
Italy vs New Zealand
Portugal vs Winner of the Mini-Qualifier
Finland vs Denmark
Canada vs Eudoria
Wales vs South Africa
Scotland vs Amethera

April 16th/17th:
Italy vs France
Portugal vs Australia
Finland vs BeNeLux
Canada vs England
Wales vs Sweden
Scotland vs DACH



Please contact your opponents as soon as possible and agree to timeslots for each of your two matches. Those playing the winners of the Mini-Qualifiers will not know who they face until the match on March 19th; the rest of you have a month to organise, and no excuses.

PM me as soon as you have agreed a time for each match and Judges can be arranged for you.

I apologise for the change to the calendar (I had said only two weekends in April would be used in this Stage) but each team still only has two matches to achieve their Stage Total (The combined score from both their matches).

The two highest-scoring teams in each Group will progress to Stage 4.

Main Teams MUST be finalised and PM’d to me NO LATER than March 19th.
If you do not have 12 Main Team members, don’t worry; the rest can be added with 7 days notice before each hunt.
Any changes afterwards need to be agreed by myself, and also must be announced 7 days before any hunt the new players will take part in.

Moblists and Stage rules are up, the dates are up, the Groups are up….

….Lock n Load.

My PC decided that this was a funny time to die :( I think the PSU went bust.

I am sorry team... I hope you managed to reorganize and continue somehow.
 
So that's what happened, we suspected an Armax... Computers do the weirdest things sometimes.. :eyecrazy:
Hope u get it sorted out!

But we did eh...manage. We all died a bit here & there. And those %¤#:censored:Ambulimax were a real pain,
I also suspect that our brave One-Man-Support no longer likes Legionaire..

The end result may indeed be historical by its low total result!! ;)

It is true, that was pretty brutal all the way around but we did reform and continue on! Kudos to Targen for selflessly running headlong into certain death over and over again, alone....

I hope next time our numbers will be increased and your computer issues will be fixed. :)

Final score is still being figured but we didn't do so well.
