WoF Opalo Hunt for a HoF

Eh! grab an opalo and join us on our quest for hof's with minimun firepower. Opalo hunts in large teams are fun and can be quite rewarding with loot. Furthermore you gain to loose less as using an opalo in big team means you won't be using much ammo.

Now, all are welcome to join man, woman, low skilled and highly skilled it really does not matter. Don't be too surprised if you find yourself hunting next to an uber player with an opalo :)


Go Go Go, So it's little to loose and all to gain. Your welcome to bring all your society and friends the more the merrier. Great way to meet new people and socialise.

OK, so what are we hunting?​
Mob of the day will probably be Grand Formidon.​


Grand Formidon? With Opallos? Are you mental?​
Not at all, there will be multiple teams of 12 (hopefully! :D) all working on the same mob. It will die pretty quick and will cost everyone very little.​

What about loot if you do multiple teams on the same mob?​
Ok, here are the rules for multiple teams all working on the same mob:

1. All Team Leaders will be England WoF members. With a good standing withing the EU community.

2. All loot will be collected at the end including ammo, oils, skins etc for equal distribution across all participants. Any loots deemed to be worth auctioning above TT level will be place on auction for bids and monies raised split equally amongst all team members once sold.

3. To ensure we all contribute the same, everyone uses unampped opallo only with 2000 Med cells each. Everyone carries the same, everyones costs are the same, everyone shares the loot at the end the same. :)

4. Hunt will last around 2 hours. If you leave before then you sacrifice your share of the loot (as will not be able to split loots mid hunt due to multiple teams). This does not include disconnects etc.

5. Don't bother bringing armour - its an opallo hunt we is all gonna die!! :D​


How many teams are we talking?​
I honestly don't know - as many as turn up on the day. These kind of hunts are generally quite popular and have good loot.

Why Opallo?​

This will suit all skill types and all budgets ;) it's not very expensive and fun.​

Good question only way to determine would be to cast a vote just before start. Good to have one but not everyone has an amp and it may put them at a disadvantage.

If theres enough of us we would'nt we even need a amp.

I would say no amps. But that is just because I have only A104 and it is not eco to use one :ahh:

..or posssible on an opalo ;)

Goos way to down some larger than usual mobs and have some fun that everyone can get involved in :)

When we did the hunt with Pinky it honestly didnt take long I have to say.

We hunted Falx, there were so many hunters its a.i was messed up, didnt know who to attack, was so confused.

Was easy, odd casualty ofc, mostly the thing just stood frozen to the spot lol :laugh:

ahah thats the way to do it.
I thought it might be quite tough with the new regen on those spiders but i guess with enough people cant be to bad.

Then at the end, we handed ALL loot over, that loot was shared out equally.

I even made some profit, Opalo ftw!! :yay:

Good questions. Your not so much of a noob are you :)

Ammo wise I was thinking same as Pinkys hunt 2000 medium cells. That should cover around 2 hours. Depends on numbers though. More people turn up less ammo you use, hence to get rid of it all would take longer.

We don't have to use all the ammo up may cut the hunt short if that's what majority decide but I'd guess it'll go on for around 2 hours. From previous experience on these type of hunts people don't want it to end and are having fun so decide to go on a bit longer than planned. So be prepared for that too.

I was suposed to be up in London taking a client out on the 2nd..... but i will cancel so that i can make the hunt......

And seeing as i found a opalo in the deepest parts of my storage.... i will be there :)
