Secondly, being the first to snatch up common mats is not profit of any kind. You tell me 1 time where for sure 100%, that ever made "Real Money" by inside info? (By real money i mean something you can bite into, not what your all bitching about). The casino owner can surely play in his own Casino.

Ok; just from my previously mentioned examples:

The first imk3's looted, approx 5 minutes after the new VU with pvp3 went live; no-one knew where pvp3 was, but boom, 2 hogglo hof's, by players who couldn't kill them, and the servers went down. That gun is worth 150k.

Suggababe was very good friends with Connor (MA CEO), got gifted a rancher hat before the BP had dropped. "She" then looted (correct me if I'm mistaken) a Mod Merc, 2 shadow parts, and a foeripper (or some other DOA) within a week.

Bet there was some real red faces when it was found out that Sugga was not only a dude, but actually part of that Romanian scamming ring which got Romanian players denied access.

Either way, once again, your example doesn't fit with what I'm saying. I didn't say that it's forbidden for a casino owner to play in his own casino, but what is forbidden is installing 2000 slot machines, and then walking straight over to the slot machine which is set for a big jackpot and taking it as personal cash.

There's a problem here, and a simple solution. MA, FPC and ND avatars should be restricted like the official avatars.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't think they should be allowed to play their regular EU avatars, and nor should ND be allowed to play his regular avatar. As staff people, they should be playing official avatars like FPC does, and with no benefits as a regular avatar. I really feel that ND and staff are taking advantage, and taking away from the community by playing their regular avatars. The OP shows proof that staff members were in game right after this current update and benefiting.

I hate that they are benefiting because they got insider information... Bullshit, if you ask me... They should NOT be allowed to play if they know stuff like that...
 
well, shit happends & we'll never know the details, I can tell you that allready.
On the other side..
FPC just announced MM event with prices like LA's, shadow, vain, angel etc.
Where do those prices actually come from, does FPC has to pay for them as their revenue should go up or are they kinda a gift from MA for coming up with a 'good event'?
Does it mean the other planet partners get the same value of prices to hand-out in their events? (as in every planet partner is equal?)
It are these kind of discissions that makes a company thrustworthy to me, & at this point, my trust is way way down.
I'm also very sure I'll get no answer at all regarding these questions, besides speculations from other players like me then.

Yes, Skam had to retire her regular EU avatar, and was given an official avatar by FPC, and all other FPC staff use official avatars as well. The official avatars are definitely restricted, and I think this should be the standard for all planet partner development staff, no matter what position you hold in the company. I also don't think that regular EU avatar players in the society of a staff member should be allowed to casually hang out in the office either, but ND says that Force brings in girls to the office all the time, and that it "sets the tone" ... except he also says, that it "distracts his staff" ... this to me isn't a professionally run development environment.

You can´t be effin serious! :eyecrazy: What earned privilege? The privilege to sit in the next room at the studio?? If you work as a wall street trader and use the knowledge of an upcoming good deal on stocks and someone rats you out, you will get fined or go to jail without passing go!

Skam had to retire her Skam avatar when she became a FPC employee and only (I presume) uses her Hanne Official avatar now. I see Mindstar9 has already said this. :ahh:


I think we need a combination of Mulder and Sherlock to investigate.

To set record straight. We are only speculating on theories.I have no idea whether he does or doesn't. But if he does, good for him. Honestly i don't understand what your so upset about, i could not care less. It's so trivial, since any item of value, is a pipe dream for most. It's like saying you work at the lotto for example, and you got a tip that number 6 will drop on next round out of 10 numbers. Great now your chances of winning are 1 out of 13 999 999 instead 1 out of 14 million. See my point? Put it your head now, your never ever no matter what fu., planet or what inside info you got ever get an item of great value. So you are arguing over nothing. Ive been here 5 years, hunted just about every mob here, mined every corner & manufactured ALOT. My first and only hit was 6k allie gel with 0 skills 4 months into game. I have gone since then, 5 years nothing. So i really don't give a flying fu.. about loot. I play for social reasons, i gave up on trying to win anything here long time ago. I do still enjoy hunting and other things here. But know i will lose 20$ usd minimum for 2 hours. That's ok, expect nothing less from MA. I hunt cause it a fun activity i can do with wife. But can't do it as often. In any case for this blog, this is my last post. I have have bad track record of small discussions turning into wars. So bowing out now before it gets ugly, i see signs already ;) GL

I voted with my PED card and was'nt once at Rock or NI.
If you dont go there he may notice that he's employee should'nt have normal Avatars but officials as FPC/MA witch do not get loots from dead mobs/mining claims or crafting.

So besides the 80 ped travel fees a second reason not to go there. Hey ND bring some more reasons to not go there.

Yeah well.....We don`t know who the FPC/MA hidden avatars are. We know they exist. They have 2 kinds of avatars 1 is the official one and the other one is the unofficial. Even Marco and others said was great way to be involved `n such. Word is they`re part of well known socs and play as normal players with their secondary avatars. Ofc FPC does more for the appearance sake but end result is the same if you ask me.

I couldn`t care less if say Force would just rename and remodel his avatar to something to something new and keep that identity more or less secret to his inner circle. Ofc would make people trust things little more under such shroud of secrecy but end result will still be the same, will just look more "professional".

On top of this no one is stopping them from making dozen of avatars on brother, sister, aunt name and play with that and take advantage of inside information.

Yeah, they did find that loophole. But there was never a real case brought against them - they argued that they were not a casino based on some pretty dodgy evidence and no opposition to their claim.

If someone seriously questioned the gambling side in court, I have no doubts that it would be deemed an online casino. You can bet MA are really, really hoping no-one does though, because if they do it would be the end of Entropia.

Answer is obviously "yes" since we all play on FPC planet.:laugh: Check my prior post for more info.

Just like in RL ones top in management get advantages and use them. We can`t do much except live with it. Sure it can be disguised to look "decent" but would just be a cheap disguise, nothing more, nothing less.

Mentor system is all you need. I think that FPC greetings crew is BS (No offense to FPC). What i mean is why take way a once succesful way of keeping players in game, only to replace it with a more complicated system that requires 2 avatars, and is no where near as good. It's like fixing something when it's not broken. I know I know, save you the return post, that there supposed to return the mentor sytem, but with MA, there promises don't mean sh.. Where the RL bank?? They can't even fix the beauty glicth for 2 years. But i have noticed this, intersting how MA NEVER EVER fu... up loot in player favor. I have never seen a day where someone can't stop hoffing. If they can get that right, they can fix the rest. Truth is they just don't give fu.. Like when i uploaded the music to screen for apartment (Coat 250 ped) to play a tune when i people come over. 6 months in e-mail to MA back and forth. They straight out told me it works on there end, and told me to go fu.. myself. But they do it the bureaucratic way. :smoke:

There's a LOT of others that use second avatars too. What's bad about the examples in this thread is simply that MA approves it. In the other examples (just do some searches in forum for "multiple avatars" and similar keywords) it's not as approved as much, but MA seems to let it go on anyways. I have sent in support tickets on some of these sort of things before, and always get that message that they'll forward it to the appropriate department, and sometimes have even gotten a reply that they don't understand why I sent in the ticket, lol. It's crap like this which is why I think second avatars are one of the biggest problems in game and will continue to be an even bigger problem as more and more planets show up. Neverdie has enough peds to pay the transport fees over and over and over again, but he chooses not to do so, leaving a different avatar on every planet I think - with banker manager on Calypso and other avatars scattered around on other planets... why does he get a cut on transport fees when we don't? I don't care if he's building a few 3d models for the other planets or not. Multiple avatars are bad thing. No idea why MA, FPC, NI, and even Neverdie himself approves using them by using them themselves. Setting very bad example for the rest of community.
