As we all know by now, I blantantly and knowingly lyed through my teeth to the community about a Jack-O-Lantern shown HERE .

I am very sorry and most of all ashamed to have even tried to get that past all of you. The ones that GRATZED me were not taken for a ride either, they just probabaly figured I wouldnt be as such a moron as to try to fake my own art...I dunno what I was thinking :( .

Please forgive me for preforming such a stupid act. As many of you know I am a very honest and reputable guy (heh) and this kind of plajurism is very embarrasing to me (I wasnt even drunk when it was preformed). As there is no excuse for this behavior, I feel I must explain how and why this happened.

I originally wanted to start the thread, but, after I did I realized that I wasnt going to have enough IRL time this year to do my usual, traditional, Holloween Jack-O-Lantern. So without using any kind of thought process, I remembered I got an e-mail with a bunch of killer pumpkins in it. Needless to say I posted a pic that would have been percieved to be my work...obviously it was not.
By time I actually realized I had done something very, very wrong, there was a comment already posted about it. At that time I met a "fork-in-the-road", I could either delete the pic, or wait to see the enevitable...I chose the wrong road.
I feel most bad for Faustian and others...I was on IRC when I created the thread and basically told him to his face that it was my work....Im so sorry bro :( .

I will not be suprised if this F.U.B.A.R.`s my rep, respect from others (if there is any at all), I deserve it....

Please Moderators...DO NOT delete any flames and/or name calling that is or will be directed twards me as a result of this stupidity on my part, as I deserve all.

I will delete pic and once again.....

I am truly sorry....

P.S. I hate Martha Stewart.....

You are lucky to have only recieved verbal retribution for your vile and despicable crime against all that is held dear to pumpkin-carvers. Pretender, I've been in the game for like 3+ years now, and I've been on IRC for pretty much that whole time, I don't post much but that's besides the point. The other dude was someone quite well known.. just a diff name :p

Anyhow, my point was that Mudd could simply just've said that "here's a really cool one" instead of taking cred for it.. smal thing, sure but nevertheless kinda lame..

However, creds to u Mud for atleast having the stones to fess up, and sorry from my side, a bit to much jäger or I wouldn't even bothered.. hehe ;D

Now that other fella, "ruben", is gonna be all over my ass for not just rubbing this in ur face Mud.. haha, but I'm just to tired to even bother X)

(ps, "ruben" is banned for another thred he started about 711.. just wanna take this oppurtunity to laugh @ him for yet another successfull ban within just hours of starting to use that acc xD)

Dude, I don't know ya but I feel your anxiety. Well, it's over so just move on; in the end it's a f***ing pumpkin (is it a fruit?) and if ppl bashed you for it when they found out, fine... But it's over now, who can hold a grudge over a friggin' fruit-claimage.
You can't own in every category in life and the pumpkin part isn't your scene so you just leave it behind; it aint that cool a scene anyways, not very loaded with b**ches, booze and other important stuff ;-p

but really, who can cast the first stone. i can safely say that at one time we all have, or thought of, taking someone elses picture of a carved pumpkin and attempted to represent it as our own. :laugh: That being said, kudos for the sackup/apology :laugh:
