Due to MASSIVE interest the Festival of FirePower returns. We have Media attention (courtesy of MindStar9) and I just KNOW that someone talented will make a seriously good movie of what takes place. It's a chance to be part of something STUPID AND LOUD.

The previous poll elected HOGGLO as the prey, by 38 votes to 28 for Araneatrox.

Meeting time will be decided by the poll now included here (sorry, missed the option before and found it again) and announced a few days before.

Plan is to run south from TI Castle tp to the nearby lake shore. Everyone lines up on lake shore to be teamed. There should be several teams of twelve. Team leaders can speak in all chat while teams keep to team chat. When there are several mobs, each team calls their own and we try (!) to not shoot each others'. We head for the Hogglo, and if we get through them, the option's there for taking on the Robots in the South East.

Rules This started as a Bravo thing, so it's still "Bravo Preferred", but any ranged weapon that knocks off over 90 damage per hit will do just as well. The stipulation is that the 90+ weapon should be your primary weapon in the hunt. (If hunting like the Uber's is similar to Formula One, this is backstreet Drag Racing). Everyone should bring 5k ammo minimum and be prepared to get through it.

Unless you have armour/stats that can take a hit from a Hogglo, then armour won't really be needed. The revival's close and we'll be easy to spot.

:sniper: :sniper: :sniper: :sniper:
There is a call going out for a team of intrepid sweater "bait" to add to the fun. No shooting them!. Any donations to the sweaters can be made on the day in person. (pick a favourite and send him to his death! :D )

Any suggestions, tactics, directions all gratefully appreciated, we want this one to go with a bang. Maybe even Uber Loot??????

Poll is closed.... Hunt is FRIDAY 3rd of MARCH at 9:00 PM GMT see end of thread for final directions. There will be a Saturday Hunt as well if enough people PM me or let me know somehow.

Main INFO on POST 82, Page 9 of this thread.

Urm....where's the poll ???

The poll is now above, had some problems getting it on, then found a brain cell. :tongue2:

Yes, yes, yes ... I will DEFINITELY be a part of this much deserved event for coverage and prominent storytelling for sure. I had SO much fun the last time that I wouldn't want to miss out on any future gatherings.

I will be in "Picture StoryTeller Mode" (PSTM) and be more diligent in capturing as much of the craziness as possible. It's actually the pics that feed what direction the story goes and how it's told, so no tellin' what the outcome of THIS one will be from your resident Picture StoryTeller. ;)

See ya all there ... WhooHoo!!

We'll be on Treasure Island, so you don't have to worry about that ...
it's non-PVP. ;)

Im bored with mining,so ill try to make it, and join in as shooter:)

Sounds like a laff the earlier it happens the less out of it i'll be ....well it is the weekend:)

The sweaters can post their willingness to attend, but to turn up on the day is all they need to do. Oh, and dress in orange so we know who's doing what etc. (Going for the least complicated plan all round). Looking like about 50 people so far, let's go for 100

Can't wait, I am really looking foward to it.

Extreme sweaters unite.

I am in too, sry for late post.

Will bring Bravo amped ('oh-six ... as primary!

Are melee allowed? Planning on "Determinating" those mofo' hogglos as well, can take max. 2 hits if not critical lol

TI Castle is the TP involved, not the other TI tp to the south west. (The central Treasure Island Teleport).

See anyone with a Bravo....tell 'em about it!

As long as the air is filled with Plasma it's up to you what you do when the Hogglo says hi. (You can't change weapons until you reload, so last time firing again was the gut reaction.... just in case it worked  )

Nice but 90+ damage weapons are not for everyone.

This mean only 5% (or even less) of the Entropia population can join this festival.

Well have fun, I will continue the snable hunt with my puny FF2200M.

How about updating the original post with this info about the specific TP?

I'll be sure to point my disciple to this thread! :)

Why only long range?

Just read this thread a few minutes before. I was late. :)

Why only long range weapons? If you have a good armor and two FAPers behind you... you can take the hogglos very easy. Well, they have a fast and high hit rate. But take some midsize armor and 5B Plates, and you are save.

So I would propose to organize this hunt in three groups:

1. Long range
2. Short range and armored
3. FAPers

Form a great team and equal distribution and you are successful. :D

Look at this stats from Pe-Wiki. It shows the max. dmg from the Hogglos:

Hogglo Young
Armor..........DMG

none............129
Paradox+5B.....40
Rascal+5B.......80
Jaguar+5B.......41
Ghost+5B........53
Kobold+5B.......84

Hogglo Mature
Armor...........DMG

none............149
Paradox+5B.....60
Rascal+5B.....100
Jaguar+5B.......61
Ghost+5B........73
Kobold+5B.....104

.....................too complicated. Only tactics needed really are which team shoots what.

It's best you read the thread that started this. (I have no idea how to post a link as yet, but someone else might). It's an earlier Hunting thread called Bravo Owners take note, should be a coupla pages back.

It's just a blast at some big mobs, not a military exercise. To organise the numbers involved to just run in the same direction is hard enough. It has to be simple to work. See those? Shoot them. With these. :sniper: LoL

The feeling of firing off massive round after massive round with twenty odd others doing the same around you and seeing the uber-mob drop in seconds, that's what we're after.
