Promote EntropiaForum and Earn EFDs!

Announcing a new way to earn EFDs, while promoting EntropiaForum! :yay:

For every team global posted in this thread that conforms to the rules below, I will donate EFDs to match the PED value of the global!

HoFs receive double EFDs and uber HoFs (over 1000 PED TT value) receive triple EFDs!!! :woot:

Examples:

104 PED Global = 104 EFD

420 PED HoF = 840 EFD

1150 PED HoF = 3450 EFD


Rules:

1. Team names must include the following text:

"EntropiaForum.com"

at the beginning of the team name.

You can add other text after the text above, for example the names of the team members, such as:

"EntropiaForum.com - Hunter1 + Hunter2"

up to the maximum amount of text allowed in team title.

2. Sceenshots must show MA time (press "C" before taking screenshot), and be uploaded to the EntropiaForum Gallery. Members should then post a thumbnail of the screenshot in this thread within 48 hours of the time shown in the global to be counted.

3. Only the member who posts the screenshot will be awarded EFD. It is up to the individual teams to determine how any EFD awards will be shared. Members can split any prizes by using the Donate option in the EFD store.

4. There is no maximum amount of EFDs you can earn. This event is ongoing, and will run until at least the end of July, and perhaps continue after that. Every few days, I will go through this thread and award EFDs for globals.

Is this against MA's EULA with regards to advertising outside companies within EU?

Promoting EntropiaUniverse related community sites is perfectly allowed. In fact, I have run several advertisement campaigns on the in-game ad system to promote this forum.

Why would MA discourage promotion of a community devoted to its product? :confused:

Many companies would kill for that kind of free, grassroots promotion and advertising of their products.
 
funny, i earn more efd by rating threads here than with globaling :rolleyes:

maybe pump up the prices to 10x the ped value? 50 efd really is not a fortune...

Shouldn't it be 1150 PED HoF = 3450 EFD :dunce:

The in-game ad system is a pay for use system. Utilizing the team name for promotion is, in a sense, exploiting the system.

If MA has no issue then I think it's great. I'll use it to earn EFDs myself.

The problem will be that MA doesn't regulate team names 'live' so any team name is ok. How long before some 'smart' avatar sells his team name to some outside website.

http://nice-entropian-girls-4-rent.com kills a Hog and finds loot with 69 PEDs.

Unfortunately there is no way to allow solo hunters to take part. However, team hunting is quite fun, and I suspect those who hunt alone the large majority of the time might (re)discover the joy of team hunting again while taking part in this event.

This is a fun event, and we're looking forward to adding even more between now and the time this event ends. I usually don't post globals unless there are interesting items, or they play into a unique storyline, but this is a nice way to get something in return for them.

I was to make some taming skill, and i keep some exarosaurus Stalke. dont need them so i decide to give to ppl from PA, make some newe hapy.
But i got to many questions so the last 8-9 pet have i add the way where they can read about taming or pet :)
