Also bypasses the point most have been trying to make - Code it so you can only loot one. Not hard. Probably about as hard as coding a lock for items...

If we suddenly discovered that PE is not longer dynamic and turns out to be static... doesnt that meen that if one person get a ATH in hunting. He should stop hunting and start mining, and then go to crafting...
so in non dynamic game, what does a person do after he get a big hof/ath in hunting, mining and crafting...????

Agree that MA could easily have 'spread' those cards more, maybe just by putting them in loot from more or easier mobs.

I am over this crap :mad:. I have sent a support case I hope others will too.

Once again, nothing against the looter, and the support case was not a complaint, just a request that they review their systems regarding this sort of item.

But, this case aside, yes, the "Dynamics" are a load on bollocks. In my time in EU, I have seem the same person get 2 unamped lyst ubers, and another person get 2 unamped towers In the same month!!!!!. My highest loot in this game so far barely covered a months deposits.

Yo guys!
I was camping this area for exactly one month crushing btw 1000-2000 ped of ammo/day. Did i loot a Nvidiacard? yes i did:wtg:, also looted a DNA-part "Furor eye". Also been camping in dome 2 up at CP for 6months in a row more or less and eventually i got my ATH this summer +30K Aurli.
What im trying to say is that persistent camping "might" pay back probably always to late:( but it will som day.

Now I am a big fan and critic of MA and usually I am first in Line to criticise them... but in this case...

Has anybody ever thought of the possibility that this is proof that loot and return to a great extent is also a bit like being at the right spot at the right time ?

Compare it to mining... you know your locations and that's where you mine... why should hunting loot be different?

I really can't understand why this guy should not have looted 3 Graphic Cards, and why some people consider it as a defect and send Support Case.

Don't we all know for years that loot is random (or pseudo-random)?


My advice for everybody to appreciate EU:
- Turn off the Global Chat.
- Do not read the HoF messages.
- Do not open the Hof Window.
-> Rule 1: Ignore that other loot better than you
- Plan your business with a crappy 50% return.
- Go to hunt (or other activity) and hope for a 66% return.
-> Rule 2: Do not expect good loot.

Result:
- You will be happy when you break even.
- You will dance when you have a Global.
- I don't know what to do when a Hof comes, I never got one after 2 years and I don't care. ;)


(Apply this in RL and you will smile more.)

I agree with the T/S 100 % that something is very wrong with the way MA is gong about giving out these cards... are they given to bot hunters only?

nothing against the person that looted 3 cards, its not his fault !
 
MA crew if u read that ...

It because of this kind of crap that i change my game play, doing more emo socializing thingys and stop paying u via astronishing decay bills.
Ofc im not the only one who do or think that. Some leave, some cash out bulk like me yesterday, but some will stay with u, in rce hibernation, cause after all crap, i/we continue to trust in u.

That sux big time but thats the reality.

this could be the case as well. I think one card per avatar would be fair. I guess the system isn't setup that way obviously. system needs some work indeed.



Guess it means if we want a card go camp the mob. Typing on here isn't going to make it appear in the loot box.
 
I'd actually like it more if this game was a casino, and not like this...
 
Basically everyone who has a problem with how shit gets distributed amongst players, ya'll going to have a problem for a very long time. Theres no way MA will fix up core code, not atleast until cry2 when we can hope for a more stablised system. Until then i guess everyone has to live with it.

Its common sense. Cryengine 2 is just around the corner, why would they bother wasting their time fixing up code for people who are crying over something that has very little meaning to them. Theres no chance in hell the are going to recode the loot distribution system not atleast until cry2. So until then, deal with it.
 
Im sick of this whine.... a lot of you just cant stand that they didnot have the luck... its the same like one guy some time ago had two ATHs in one day.. you will also say that its BS and avatar should have only one ATH ?

Do you guys wonder why YOU can not get that 2K mob whilst YOU have been camping it for freagin' months?

Do you guys wonder why a 5 day old newbie loots an korrs350 (Unlimited) while your best item ever (in a coarse of several years) was a vigi shin...?

What I'm trying to say is that there are a lot of inconsistencies in the loottable but that is NOT new. It is an issue that's been here for a long time.

It is a great game, I love it I really do. But maybe they should work out their code so they don't piss off the core playerbase every 2 days.

Anyways it has been discussed in many many many threads, to no avail.

Wonder what yer speech will be after the 4th Cut and paste VU in Crytropia with the same fucking problems we have now. How would you justify that? I dont think they are even now changing code just swapping one picture for another and remodifying stats tables. I SERIOUSLY doubt there will be any change in EU "Dynamic" They are too used to the ped rolling in at this point.
They LOVE when Fanboi logic gets injected here. That just reassures them there are still more cussions attached to their asses so it wont hurt so bad should EU fall on its Duff.

Well you see, i couldnt care less whether they did make some changes or not. But its definately not going to happen anytime soon, even if at all. If it does happen, the chances are it will be for cry2. If not then, it will never happen, and as stated above by Baradur, the distribution system has been like this for years, its a never ending argument, simply put: get over it? only a handfull of players care whilst others couldnt give two ....
 
I don't see this about normal everyday ingame loots/hofs/ath's etc.

This is a promotional thing. Nvidia gave MA 30 cards to distribute to their players to raise awareness and promote the Nvidia/MA partnership.

If Nvidia envisaged that 1 participant would receive 10% of the donated cards, and are fine with this, then no probs. Did a crafting guy get 2 as well?

I rather suspect though that they would have preferred 30 happy punters singing Nvidias praises, rather than 20.

Anywho, it aint really a biggie.

I just think that IRL loots like this should have a "1 per avatar" tag associated with them.

U out of subject. I whine but not about what i dont have. I have luck, good loots that not the problem. The problem is more general. Well...

This is exactly it. Items like the coins and the video cards should be limited to 1 per person.

I mean, why does nobody get it? It's a no-lose situation. MA gets 30 happy players, everyone else congratulates them on their good luck and we all have a big group hug :yay:.

Nobody's going to come on to EF and whine about only looting 1 video card.

If MA's marketing manager is in any way competent, he should be hiding the balancing manager's body right about now.

Q - How to increase deposits? :ahh:
A - Try to increase number of players.

Q - How to increase number of players? :confused:
A - Attract them with huge shiny ATH.

Q - How attract new players who don't care about looting 300K Oils? :laugh:
A - Attract them with RL loot, like Graphic Cards.

Q - How to advertise better from Marketing Operation with nVidia? :eek:
A - Give 3 x Graphic Cards to the same player and make it public.


Maybe that even if you did not loot one of the Graphic Cards, your next loot will be a little better....

Well I haven't been killling evis... BUT I've been camping drones like most of the people knows... I was all god damn afternoon and night hunting them....not even a god damned global... :rolleyes:
