I think it's default 3 minutes until loot is gone like everywhere else.I only had time to kill s few hundred mobs but must say I appreciate the new and interesting loot, now I don't have to use my TT at all since an even bigger chunk than usual is shrap...
I have a serious question though... For defense, is there a timer on looting mobs? Because my strategy is to kill them as early as possible but it kind of sucks to get nervous and take laps because I don't know if I will loose my loot.

you can see it on radar, otherwise you cant attack mobs that behind the terminal from your point of viewMA, why does the Data Interceptor disappears between the levels ?
Only Terminals shoud disappear, not the point to defense.

These were the kind of sentiments by the majority of the player base at the time.
This year the player base seem to be have taken a different view - a much more negative view of this kind of approach. See post #36 above for example.
Personally it kind of makes sense they had to diminish supply of Mayhem Tokens as the market is already flooded with them. Which was largely due to short term thinking by MA and quick cash grabs.
To make the event interesting they said they would add new or additional loot presumably with good mark up to make it worth while. The active playstyle required also was in this vein to make it interesting and fun rather than a repetitive gameplay style that was boring. So personally I think they are on the right path even though player perceptions at this moment in time are negative.
