Entropia feeding ! Enough is enough !! ;)

Hey !

As the title says it's about entropia and feeding.
A lot of my soc mates sometimes says "later all, food time" and then they're back 10mins later.
As I care about their health, i say NOOO ! Enough doing this ! 10mins is way to fast to have meal.

So dear mates ( and not just soc ones ;) ), as a inhabitant of lyon, the world capital of gastronomy, i'm going to give you some advices ;)

- 1 - Take your time, 45mins would be a minimum time to have dinner

- 2 - Make sure you have all you need not far from you and you're in a comfortable position (fact of stand up in order to get something while you're eating is not a good thing)

- 3 - Don't forget water ! ;) ( but not too much, too much water can cause heart attack )

- 4 - If you can, drink some red wine ( not in cans :D ), when you're eating some dish which contains some fat it helps your body to eliminate it faster ( [edit] one glass is enough lol ).

- 5 - Salad (or every cold fibered vegetables) helps a lot for digestion so the best way is too have it after the main dish

- 6 - Cheese (or other dairy products) is also good for your stomach helping it with providing some bacteria ([edit] beer also provide your stomach some yeast helping bacteria)

- 7 - Try to avoid orange / lemon (or associated) juice during the meal (a lot of acidity may stop your digestion and causes stomach disorders)

- 8 - Fruits ! Try to have differents kind during the day (vitamins and it's always better to have a fruit instead of a chocolate bar or icecream :popcorn: )

- 9 - TIME another time !!! The longest the meal is during the best it is for your digestion and health ;)

- 10 - Salt ! Your body need some salt (for kidney mostly and others organs) but too much salt will increase risks for your heart and blood pressure. Some foods already contains salt so pay attention, don't add salt everywhere ([edit] note for muslim and jewish people that sometimes halal or kasher meat is done by adding salt to help the blood go away faster)

- 11 - Fishes ! All fishes increase your muscle weight and capability in memory. ( but also too much fish will increase your blood pressure ), and beware of the iodine if you're allergic you may take some river fishes instead of sea ones ;)

- 12 - Chocolate ! but not too much referring as this article :

- 999 - And at last for all food, it's better not to have them in great quantity ;)

Maybe some culture differences, like, someone has a great fiest with wine and desert, and the other just a hamburger :p
 
When somebody from Lyon gives you food-related advice, it should not be ignored :) It is a city where on every street in the town center you have restaurants everwhere, and you can just go into any of them because they're all impressive.

The world capital of sausages and anything made from bits of pigs.

I can do it in 5!

Here's how:

1. Bring out your bad a$$ 1 gallon stainless food blender.

2. Chuck whatever eatables you've got into it.
3. Add water, beer, soda or whatever drinkables you'd like.
4. Start the blender and let it run for 2min.
5. Drink! Preferbly directly from the blender to save time.
Never mind the taste, that's for whimps anyway.
Only think "nutrition" here, it's the only important factor.
6. Now run back to the computer and re-emerse yourself into Entropia.
If you've done everything right you should be able to make it back before your computer auto-logoff.

There, you have just saved a lot of game time!

hehe when i'm going to a fast food, it takes me about way more than 30 mins (not counting the time to wait the meal) :silly2:

seriously I keep learning stuff about food and bevarage... why they dont teach you that shit on school ?

nice post man, but seriously... who's got time to sit at the table and eat/digest ? Just make sure you eat enought while your at work.. (company time, cant log in EU anyways) then when u get home (dont forget to buy beer on the way) .. have a beer or 2 (150 calories per beer, same as a hamburger) and only stop after you feel asleep 3 times and hit the key board everytime. Then you can safely log off and go to bed :computer:

And +rep i forget beer which is good too ( not too much though :D ) for stomach bacteria ;)

I prefer to think the video is kinda humoristic usurper, if not damn lol these guys are really dangerous :laugh:

hmm 45 minute - 10 minutes to get Maccy D drive through, 10 minutes for beer from shoip, 5 minutes home... 20 minutes to get slaughtered and eat the burger - then play EU

Sounds good :D

Humm... thinking of it, I'm a pretty easy maintenance. Any girls who fancy their partner not to eat, drink, smoke, drug, dress up... PM me! :laugh:

I think you mean body not corpse (dead body). I dont think your corpse would be in need of much nourishment, not untill you revive anyway. ;)

And if I remember correctly 3 grams of salt is enough to kill a person, so don't go overboard.

I don't bother eating much, how could I live with myself eating a burger or something else knowing MA is relying on my money to feed their families.

They say that 6 or 7 grams of salt per day is the recommended amount to take. And it is very easy to do that without trying. Be careless and you'll eat more than the recommended amount, so don't add any to your food guys.

Where sodium (Na) is on your food packaging label but not salt, the rough guide is to multiply the sodium figure by 2.5 times to work out the salt content.

I take tablets to keep my blood pressure down. Salt is well known to push your blood pressure up. Sadly, so is alcohol.

I'm one of those that luckely can eat a hot meal at work :yay:
But I need a least half an hour to eat, smoke, do the dishes, smoke another, before I would log back in.
Only exception is when I just eat bread (I don't eat bread much, except in combination with spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, soup)
And I'm really want to take care about what to eat, but I munch about everything anytime, as long as it is meat. No sugar for me.
Good side about my diet is that although I manage to eat 2 hot meals a day and a small breakfast, I'm skinny, my blood sugar is A-OK, and my cholesterol is too low (the good one is, the bad one is non existing).
 
If you mix salt and beer you get a nasty tasting beer after a few shakes of the salt shaker. Although the salt does make beer foam up again.

I just googled about the salt thing, apparently I must have misunderstood the discovery channel or whatever learning channel show was on. Large amounts of salt not only cause dehydration but can cause your internal organs to shutdown, which in itself isn't good. Also from what I read neither is drinking excess amounts of water.

I apologize for my brains inability to correctly remember things anymore, I blame the voices...they hear what they want to hear.
