Info: Leeloo's Mining Guide

More and more I'm getting pm's of people asking me if they should pay for info about mining ... and where to get what.

The answer is simple​

NO​

MA is changing things week by week, month by month, year after year so you are buying a cat in a sack and imo you are paying for a scam !!!

Just use the LBML map and try to find out yourself, cause nothing is that simple as it looks.​

I was caught up on that for a sec as well. But I think the part he was talking about was not the resource but that the depth was outside of the suggested finder avg depth +-200 range

Doesn't seem to be anything out of the line here. That ±200m has always been a ballpark where most claims are going to fall in., though the way averages work, you're always going to get a few a bit outside that range. I don't think anyone has ever suggested that ±200m is a hard limit before.
 
Isn't it like 50%? So for an F105 it would be +- about 250m?
 
Beat my previous record.. 800m with a 105...

It’s not really clear how that would be a “black swan”, a result like that would be pretty expected in what’s been described already.

Not to mention that there’s a hard cap at 0, so the distribution is going to skew a bit as you move to shallower depth finders than that. Otherwise if someone mostly uses one finder, it’s not hard to pull their depth data from LBML and run basic average/normal distribution statistics on them. Min/max generally aren’t meaningful, but standard deviation, etc. would be.
 
Depth is broken....

is often i get with cgr(560m avg depth) depths around 1400-1500m
and with Tm8(1000m avg depth) 450+-)

I can search around all my claims screenshot but since i lazy you can believe in me or not

So I have a few questions regarding a hex grid... but I will start with the easiest, Leeloo do you mine mine in straight lines or do you actively search for clusters in a hex ?
 
when will you fix the miner? 20-30 consecutive empty traffic jams. does the system freeze and think that I'm standing still? I have to re-enter the game.

This is a very interesting screenshot and could be something Mindark needs to address in terms of engagement with the game itself.

I mean players are going to get bored if all the get are constant misses.

yes, this is some kind of tin - the avatar freezes in the system) and even if you use a teleporter. Won't it help? does the system think that you're throwing a traffic jam in 1 place? crazy) when will it be fixed?

Log out and log in will not solve the problem.
I just stop to cycle big amounts and downgrade all of mining costs.
I have days when all is good and work and days when this happen. When all go bad I just stop playing.
Also stoped to use pills and buffs.
There is nothing until now what can make this not happen.
If MA let this, way more less value cycle and stop playing.

If I see that hitrate is way under the normal I just stop or if I play will be just on very slow style.
Just think to go full speed on it and have a big amp and very bad hitrate...the peds lost will be very big.
Yesterday happened again. 22 % hitrate on 5 different servers....log out and bye bye...wtf

Doesn't it help? That's the news! What should I do? on the hunt, I'm in the red for almost 5000 ped. and there is no return I went to the mine and here's the news!

OK. What about veins and clusters, do you think these "shapes" actually exist in the game ? IE Are they pregenerated or they are generated when the probe button is pressed ?
