An old EU friend of mine had a problem with things disapperaing from her balcony. At that time neither of us were aware that things just disappear from balconies after a while, and she was convinced that someone was stealing the stuff she left out there...

She had suspitions about a guy in her soc, so she made her appartment private apart from herself, and him. When stuff then disappeared from the balcony again, she felt she had the proof she needed, and it all got quite heated.

Poor lad protested his innocence all along. I'm glad I largely stayed out of it, though I wish I'd known then what I know now...

Isn't that frequently the case..

I did the floors in my apt. Then the update that made them smaller happened. At least when they are refined the refined pieces look good or maybe better than the old long boards.
I bought my son an H apt. He will at times leave items for balcony pickers if he has had a global :D
 
Looks nice, too bad that anyone can come and rob you. Wish MA would change that, or at least make it your own PVP zone so that you can shoot the robbers!! :yay:
 
First off, that looks awesome! Hope it stays for a good long time, but, sadly, I doubt it.

Secondly, really now, MA! How difficult would it be to make the balconies part of the apartment so that people can decorate out there without fear of theft, or items disappearing with maintenance or updates. You can do it with houses, so why not apartments? I mean, seriously, if a pile of fruit spawns within a home area limits, only the home owner can pick it up! Whats the deal, here? :scratch2:

Ahh the balcony. I loved leaving one turd on the balcony. Just a turd, all by itself. Sometimes it would last weeks. :laugh:

Correct - but you can still pick up items from balconies above and below you.

Heh, if ppl will hang out on Memorial island just to steal a couple of pecs of stuff, then I'm sure some sad case will take the time to visit every apartment with a balcony that they can gain access to in the hope of gaining ~60 pec of veneers. It's just a matter of time.

True. It would be much quicker and more fun than using the televator :) There are still ways to take stuff though unfortunately.
 
Nice piece of work and I agree with the others: MA should make the balconies safe (and then release blueprints for balcony furniture ;))

The veneers are easier to use than boards and worth less, so much better for the job :)
Now all we need is Patio Furniture (C)

EU balconies are just like RL ones. It's not locked up, so anyone who cares to can take it.

great floor!

one time i sat on a friends balcony and put orange paint can everywhere, hers, other peoples, hiden nooks and cranies to see how long they would stay

I know how to get things from other balconys, did some test with friends, and its really easy to get the stuff there, although someone sets his appartment to private you may reach the goods at the balcony realtively easy!

But I am to damn lazy to visit that much balcony to get some 10 pec, the time consuming such a poor treasure hunt can be used much better ;)
Sweating gives more income unless someone drops really valuable items on his balcony ;)

So is it still there?

I will give this a try and guess its gone around 14:32 MA time today ;)

You can loot a balcony from another balcony also.. the lad really could of been innocent!:eek:

An upstairs neighbor that I don't know had his balcony decorated. I placed 3 pec in a triangle there in order to give him the idea that all was not secure.

Next time I looked, all the items were gone. I do hope that he got the chance to clean up before being robbed.
