You already earned that title, don't you have better ways to use your ped then wasting it murdering other players and stealing their loot? But, ofc, it is up to you. You may always be a pirate, but wouldn't your skills be better used killing pirates, running escorts, or killing pirates? Maybe make a business out of it. 2 ped for escort to atmo...
OFC, any weary traveler would feign to hire a pirate for "safe" escort, but who knows.

PVP is a part of the game, but if it was good, then apply the same model to the planet. It collapses. Piracy is a way to redistribute goods, really, from paying players to those with expierience. It is the same as buying pyrite from noobs for tt. It is unsavory. Not against the rules, but not right, or good.
Could I ask you for your views on PVP4 and PVP in general ?
I understand that Space is in a way non optional, even so it is very easy not to be shot down.
Surely anything that helps pays the bills is good for this game
If people rage quit because they get looted in space then let them go, they will not last in this game anyway.
And where would the game go if everywhere but the safe area around the TP was lootable PVP area? Rich, or skilled, players would be looting all the noobs all the time. Then no noobs would play, because it would not be worth leaving the tp. That is space. So some avoid space altogether. Ask those on planet Cyrene why the economy sucks there. Some sell their quads after trying space, and depend on the MS service. Some get pissed and waste time and ped trying to do something. PVP4 and planet side pvp in general, is avoidable. Has been around for many years, and I have never had to experience it. has always been a option if want to you can go "over there" and "play" with other pvp people.
However, to bring a "arguably forced pvp experience" into a game, where players have been investing and playing for nearly a decade, in a pvp free environment. To require the user to either accept pvp happening to him, or choose to not play 90% of the game locations for being unable to reach them with out the pvp experience. To then offer up the notion that we should either "accept it or leave", what happens when all the non pvp people leave?
I know of several who have quit over the space pvp, I know of only 1 person who joined because of space piracy and of course that person, is just a thief here to try to take peds from those that have been playing and investing for a decade.
in the long run, piracy will be the death of this game...I think the only reason more haven't quit over it, is at this point in time EU is about the only good RCE out there, but that quite probably changes this year with the new titan contender from blizzard, I know I keep my funds "fluid" in clds because I expect pvp to get worse, I am just looking for another RCE option at this point..
I do not think piarcy should be singled out of the whole force of dead planets.
I truly believe it is the length of time taken to get to each planet.
it is that length due to MS owners am I right or right
But I do agree space is almost a load of crap in this game.

you move, you die.
Try not to move then we can't see you.
Wait a min, i'm lost... pirates have an unfair advantage over almost everyone they slaughter, therefore making them cowards.
Simple math, compare 1 with 2:... the closest you can get to a win by allowing the pirate no loot. You still lose decay, and they still gain skills, no matter what the cost of ammo.
There's no "closest". If no loot it's always a loss for the pirate, while u will gain skills for just a few pecs - basically the same thing that u do when repair-skilling on the MS.
Don't worry, be happy!
can confirm chances and micjack
why the game allows to be looted after returning to a safe zone is annoying
support case sent.
not expecting anything

Yes, I've been shot down and looted AFTER crossing into the "safe" zone.
Vulnerable but not lootable,, iirc.. At least that's I remember in pvp4.This is the documented behavior, not only in space but even on planets and in pvp rings. You are vulnerable for something like 30 seconds after you leave pvp. (In space, go into the station)
