Well this is my first topic and i hope all anderstand my english hehe..

Im a new player, yes a noob i only have around 1 month...

My EU time playing is 50% of the day making 2k of sweat per day at Nea's and the 50% rest of the day, mining and learning about that profession...my first time i sale 1k of sweat..i sale it on 3,50 peds with a long conversation about prices, tt and more for broke my noob brain...then i learn more and find about i can sale it on 5peds, maybe more if i have lucky and patience..

The think and point in this (my first topic), in all my days walking around i found ppl playing with noobs, they buy 1k of sweat from noobs in 0.50,1ped, 2peds and 3 peds..now im trying to visit all places and inform all other new players about the correct price for sale it ( not the resalers one). Wen i catch one resaler like that he say me, noobs are noobs is the same...but we dont landing here as a big player...we all start as a noob soo i need your help with this next..

Wen you visit one noob place or sweat camp/zone, not just pass it if you can please leave in the chat that info, there is a lot of people with afraid to ask or say about was rob it feeling bad...but if you help me only making that...maybe we can stop a litle that people playing with noobs,people leaving the game soo bad ( possible new good friends and people) that buyers laughthing about noobs.....and i always think...wen they arrive to EU, they was noobs to...like all..

like you reading this...and like me writing this topic.

just write one line in the chat saying.....hey sweaters remember 1k is 5peds wen you sale it ( ofcourse if the price dosnt change) wen you have to cross a newbies way.

I really dont know if make that is good or accept it...so dont be hard in your replys hehe...i just trying to see new people like me a litle more happy and they really work hard for get that 1k of sweat..

but it's really strange why it's 0.5 pec, if the output of sweat is much lower than before, it's supposed to be something like 1 pec, or 0,75 pec.

Always there are people that take advantage of those that don't know. I remember when I looted my first GSI and asked how much it was worth. turns out I was misled quite a bit on the response to that.

Probably.

Personally, having been a sweater long ago, I refuse to purchase sweat at less than .7 (meaning 7 ped per 1k sweat). I really wish more folks would adopt this policy, it's not really that much PED in the scope of things but goes a long way for a noob. I don't buy a lot, just a 1k once in a while to make my own ME but always .7 and usually from a soc mem but if there aren't any available or they don't have some I will usu go to swamp.

same as I often see in swamp camp, people buy sweat and blazar fragments for way to little, then to see the person reselling them at the ok price in twins again..

kind of sad to see people rip of noobs like this. and atm without the mentor system still, i bet there are alot of such black numbers going around sadly

Nah those were trying to push the sweat price artificially high, the OP just wants noobs to be paid the correct market value for their sweat.

Any noob who hangs around sweating places should get a good idea of the current value anyway. Prices aren't static but the trend doesn't change quickly. Those offering low prices will simply get less business, true they may be trying to make a quick ped off ignorant or desperate players but there will always be another buyer that comes along offering a decent price in a short time. Players should quickly realise by watching trade chat & talking with other sweaters that they don't have to accept the only offer at that time. It's a good lesson to learn concerning buying or selling any items in this game, it all depends how much patience you have to buy/sell whatever you are buying/selling.
There will always be "resellers" offering "bad" deals on anything from sweat to supremacy armour.

The guy said it 3 ped per 1k xD So i sold it
I'f i'll ever get my hands on him ......

But yeah , its sad ppl killed the sweat price once again , 2x more work for the same price as in VU9 , meaning we sell at around 2.5 ped per 1k by the VU9 system.

This reminds me of when I first started playing a year and a half ago. I was in swamp camp and I got my first 1k of sweat! I was extremely happy and I wanted to sell it right away so I could buy my opalo. I spent several minutes looking for a buyer. I finally found one, who offered me something rare in exchange for the 1k sweat....a papplon. He lectured me on some about how it is super rare and is worth 100 ped. So I said, why not and sold it to him!
The next minutes were spent at PA, trying to sell my new papplon. Eventually someone came by and informed me that it was worth around 1 pec. Wow, did that experience change so much! If only I could meet that guy again and whack him in the face with a bunch of papplon.

Why not try reading what the guy said, he is just saying there are some people trying to rip off newer people with way below the market value prices of sweat, if you cant be bothered reading why reply?

There are always going to be arseholes in this game trying to rip off people who know a little less then them so i can't see any problems with people mentioning the going rate for sweat in local chat for newer people to have an idea rather than be ripped off by losers then get a bad taste for the game and leave.

When I started playing sweat was at 12 ped per 1k.

Within a week or so there was a change MA made and it quickly dropped to 7 ped per 1k. by then I was off and running doing my mining and was making ME from the nexus I mined and the sweat I no longer sold.

After this ltest fiasco and that sweating "Tool" I feel even worse for new players starting out. I see people trying to buy for under 5 ped per 1k and I make it a point to warn new players in the area they are getting scammed.

Unfortunately thats the Gamers law of newbies. You WILL get short changed on something at some point if not a few times thruout your gameing career no matter what you play or how long. The world "Should" and I use this loosly know this by now as there are not too many people that have not played a video game at this point.

You just have to KNOW someone WILL try to take advantage of you and make the effort to learn before you make any deals in any game you play.

One thing to understand about sweat is that the prices tend to fall...

if there is a good price, more people do it, and there is more sweat...

people then go for a quick sale, and the prices fall lower and lower

When I started playing, the price was 0.6, then fell to 0.3... with VU 10.0 and changes, the price rose to 1.0 and is quickly falling...

so if the price is .5, and someone offers to buy at .49... they aren't bad people... reselling and profiting are a part of the game...

that being said, I do have a problem with people offering drastically below market value to people who don't know any better...

To make a good deal - you have to know what is the correct price for you.

If on 28.12.09 the daily auction markup says that 1000 Mind Essence is 18.85 PED and that 1000 Force Nexus is 12.36 PED and 1000 Rafinator decay is 0.31 PED then:

Price of 1000 Sweat on 28.12.09 is 18.85 - 12.36 - 0.31 = 6.18 PED

That's if a sweater makes Mind Essence from his own sweat.

And if he can get a better price for his Mind Essence and if he can buy Force Nexus cheaper and if he has a lower decay rafinator...

Ok first off, no one robbed you, maybe took advantage of your lack of knowledge of the game, but definately didnt rob you, you received ped in the transaction, which by the way sweat is free, so you came out on top. If you dont believe me here is the definition of the verb to rob: "To deprive someone of some right or something legally due." This brings me to my next point, there is no legal price of sweat, last time i checked this is a free market, where prices are dictated by supply and demand, i remember when i first started playing the prices were massively different than they are now, the prices fell when there became a massive influx in new players and a very small change in the amount of things that use MF and players using it. All that said, if a player is wanting to buy at 3 ped/1k he or she has the right to want to buy that, you have no right to challenge them. If people are desperate for peds and dont want to wait around for someone who is willing to buy it at 5ped/1k than they can sell to this trader. Thats the beauty of a free market! Its the kind of economic theory that im guessing all but few of the players of this game are living with in real life. Dont take it out on the trader, even though he can hurt the market, what you should do is take it out on the people who are selling to him, much like you, who did not take the time to learn the market or ask those around him/her for advice on the prices of the market, before they sold.

sorry for the really long rant, but this isnt a command economy and people have the right to buy and sell at whatever price they believe is fair and agreed upon by both people, and noobs should stop complaining for their lack of knowledge in the game and chalk it up to a lesson learned, I went through that phase, and my mentor left me after 1 week! Get over it, move on, and quite your (female dog)ing...

Since there is no pressure but downward on the sweat market I continue to propose that there be 2-3 ped P/K tt price support on sweat and a 2-3k cap per day. this would force reseller and buyers to compete with themselves to offer the best prices rather than exploit the newbs.

We need to start providing a true socialist economic stable environment at the bottom that encourages players to stay to the point of investment and provides a safety net for failing broke and broken ubers.

Hi orginal poster. As a former sweater I can understand your point of view. 5 peds per 1000 units seems to be the current price, thus people should be paid that. Continue to do what you do, but I think its a waste of time to fight with the people offering the lower spectrum of pricing. It really just wastes your engergy and theirs, because 99% of the time your effort will be a waste. But people knowing the fair market price is good.

By the way I look to buy sweat from newer people. If you have 1k or 2k for sell lets try to find each other sometime in eu. I tend to be logged in around 18 or 22 MA time. Price I am offering is 5 peds per 1000 sweats.

i am witnessing topics like these sprouting up regularly for over a year do they ever learn ?? the naswer is: no

in a free market economy, every action is based on knowing things, so nobody is ripping off anybody - it's a regular capitalistic business!

for all i know, since there is a cap of ~400 sweat bottles / hour, sweat must pay 10-12 ped/k on average! start selling sweat for no less than 10 ped now, will you!?

the only one who is ripping people off is MindArk, Marco asshole, and First Planet Company, because they control everything and manipulate people into spending more and more with ridiculous "innovations", and luring children into game to spend their paren'ts money with nice, shiny useless toys and empty promises of being able to gain anything in this game;

on the other side, those who have already payed a lot into game, are like hostages now, they are too greedy to write off their losses, so they keep perpetuating false propaganda of how good this "game" (in fact, a disquised casino gambling) is;

You have just discovered how this game works

Basicly it is at all lvl

if you are new, you try to sell your sweat for .5 , or even better.. but there are folks who buy in lower than .5
Commonly the average players dont like them, they call them sweat reseller, or in worst case scam new players or rip off.

if you been around for awhile, made some serious deposites, you try to sell your loot at MV, but then you notice there are folks who buy loot , ore and e-matter in for MV -5% sometime even more
Commonly average players kinna like them, and sometimes dont like them , the community call them traders


if you hang out very long time,
you have spend tons peds and basicly hunting/spenind your ass off for an uber hof or a nice item drop.... But you notice MA/FPC often give you shit loot only.

you try to buy some LA or shops from MA/FPC , you found out later your lands or shops re changed without any reasons or inform you in advances...
you have to pay thousand thousand peds for a few extre item points for your estate, or music stuff..
hunderd thousand peds for a teleporter, which you may not need in the past, but due to sudden changes.. ehhh shit now you have to get one...

You can see the Market Value in your items or your virtual propreties are cut down by half or gone totaly..

If shit happens you can even get banned -> which means all your stuffs are gone.
The average players have different opnions about it.

I dare you to think about

who is worse ?

- A sweat/items reseller/trader who takes a 1~10% cut ( a few ped, no even worth 1 usdollar ) , you may blame him for no telling you the correct price of the sweat.

- or MA/FP who is taking 1~10000% cut ?? ( can easyly go up to hundred thousand peds ) , and you cant blame them at all for not-telling us anything. ehhh
