Unfortunatly RL has got in the way of me offering support this weekend, but I'm sure the bulldog spirit and class we have will see us through. Good luck and see you all for the final. ;) Hopefully.

I think Romania will be tough opponents but we'll do our very best to keep England in the WoF.

We're still awaiting word from the Romanian team. I've left a note on their thread asking for 16:00 MA time. No word as yet.

Chatting to one of the Romanian team last night. They seem to be on for Sunday but did not confirm a time to me.

They are however trying to recuit new team members, particually members of my Daddy SOC!!!

I have advised that might not be the best thing. ;)
 
Hello guys, sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately, 16:00 MA doesn't suit us well due to few RL events some of us have on Sunday evening, so we would like to propose 12:00MA, Sunday.
Give us a shout when you can.

Akiran, as this is a bit tricky for me and as I know Danny is keen to play I have no objection if he takes my place for this match.

If he can't make this time then yes, I'll make it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, warriors of the four corners of the earth and beyond, welcome to Stage 4 of the WoF 2007. Bonds have been made and hearts have been broken. The landscape of Calypso has flowed with rivers of blood and the corpses of those that have been felled line the path of glory to one victorious team. 24 nations vied for the honour of reaching this the penultimate stage of the Tournement but by Sunday evening on the 6th of May, we shall have confirmed our first ever WoF finalists. Steel those nerves, load those weapons and don your garb of war. WoF stage 4 is here and for some the journey will be over but for the others, glory awaits.

Can Germany overcome the might and firepower of the USA? Will Romania conquer England? and is it possible that the Eudorian underdogs can defeat many peoples tournament favourites Sweden?
The answer to these questions my friends are imminent.

I would be a lot happier with Danny in the team, but not at the expense of Kev. :(

I'd rather not have an open discussion of our team line up on an open forum. That's for our team meetings.

Number of meetings before the match .... zero. Number of private team forums we have access to .... zero.

Making a statement isn't a discussion, and expressing my backing for two extremely valuable members of the team is hardly talking about team line up, not that team line up exactly needs to be secret anyway.

Since then there are no meetings planned before the match, hence zero. If there are no meetings how can we use a meeting to discuss something that has changed since the last meeting, unless you expect us to discuss such matters after the match?
 
OK guys, my fault for naming team players in this thread so let's get back on topic and focus on beating Romania?

Why do we need another meeting to discuss the tactics etc that we already discussed. The fact that we are swapping out a player, which we knew may happen at the time of the meeting, has no affect on our tactics on the day.

If you wish to discuss type of thing in future, please PM me about it.

As I've already said, I wasn't discussing anything. I made a simple statement that I would be happier if Danny was in the team as well as Kev. I hardly think that's something which I need to PM to you!

Bad Kev! :whip: You should have known that the names of our team are top secret, which is why the team list in one the WoF threads is a decoy, we all post using an alias, and we send Feffs in fancy dress to play the matches. ;)

And why worry about beating Romania for now when Akira keeps coming back for more! :nana:

Actually, as per most of our matches, our actual playing four have never really been anounced. I want to keep it that way. That's all.

It came across that you have a grievance with the team selection, which if that is the case, a PM to me would have sufficed rather than a public display of your grievance.

By making a point about having 0 meetings it also came across that you feel there should be more meetings.

Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick here but I can only interpret what I see.

Let me put this to you then, for the price of the MM you could get an Imp. M2870, Adj. FAP and Angel armour at a push. ;)
