Just curious.

I've hit one tower. 5K Iron, with 103 amp on CND. How did everyone else find towers?
 
You dont have a selection for I have not had anything close to a tower. Maybe someday :rolleyes:
 
hit 9k gazzurdite about 6 months or so back with an oa-101 on...was an extremely bad run, about 4 hits out of 50-60 bombs and then wham! im rich :D

it was my first hof too :D:D
 
For those who have hit towers, how many bombs/probes did it take before your first? If you even tracked it.
 
i hit 13694 ped blausarium in pvp4 with 211 finder unamped so i think towers can come any way ;D
 
So far the results are pretty well evenly spread out... interesting...
 
Only one for me so far, 6652 Angelic with an unamped MF-103 on Amethera. :)

I have seen some, but never hit one :)
 
I hope I can give you my answer to this poll sometime in 2008 :cry:
 
Unamped, 211 finder on Amerthera. Terrible run, hit a III, dropped again, another III, dropped again, XXIII. No sense at all, but a great feeling to find 7k belk :cool:
 
I have had two towers. Both with a 105 finder and a 101 OreAmp. Both on Calypso. One on a LA on Amethera and one on Eudoria. One was a 9k Blaus and the other was a 9k Lyst :yay:
 
only ever managed to get 1 tower and that was oa105 amped on tk320
 
Well....no tower....yet...

But I've had a hof TOUCHING a 10k tower.....no seriously...actually touching it, a 500 pedder, :D

101 amp attached to an OF-211(L) gave me a nice 18k belkar tower on Amathera
 
Well after looking back in my college block, I found that I dropped +/- 290.000 bombs and +/- 176.000 probes.

Chipped out multiple times, highest level was level 48 prospector.

Result, amps used up to OA107 and MA106. Biggest hit was 1887 ped Caldorite on CND with OF105 and a OA104 strapped on.

... no tower for me ....

but my highest mining claim was unamped 1419ped long ago

Based on my knowledge of the game and my past success, I figure I'll get the deed to the Tower of London before I'll get a tower of lysterium.

Nice idea with a poll, but there is one number we are missing before the result from this poll say anything about anything.

Its the ratio of bombs/probes dropped in game without amp, compared to the number of bombs/probes dropped with amp.

Without that ratio, the ratio on the answers in this poll is meaningless unfortunately :(
