All Global/HoF contests will begin on Friday, June 23rd and end at 06:00 MA time on Monday morning June 26th. The details will be posted in separate threads at the Reality Port forum only, but make sure that when you post your “Global” and/or “HoF” that you are posting in the right thread because they are separated according to Global and/or HoF, as well as Hunting and/or Mining. You will also be able to post your Globals/HoFs in the "Weekend Global/HoF Draw" thread for an additional chance to win.

There will also be a separate thread for all ticket holders to the Ambuli event to register for a draw. The "Weekend Global/HoF Draw" and the "Ambuli Aphrodisiac Lingerie Party" draw will be based on the EuroMillions Lotto numbers for Friday, June 30th.

Event has been added to the ED Events Calendar, and with all the other stuff going on up there this weekend its certainly looking like the place to be!

Yes, as JD said ... what CPH posted was a teaser, and this thread is the official announcement with complete details surrounding all of the activities for the weekend. The purpose of the teaser was to actually alert the community about the event until all of the details were forumulated so that ppl could schedule their time accordingly and make any arrangements necessary.

As is often the case, breaking news like this isn't always timely, so we do the best we can to at least initially get it out to the community in a fair amount of time. In the future, consideration will be given as to how these threads are posted. In the meantime, I have changed the title of the thread so that it's less confusing.

Unfortunately, I'm taking part in a Stag Weekend in Newcastle (UK) this weekend so I'll have to settle for "non-virtual" clubbing!

Big Gratz to everyone involved in organising this event and making it possible.

My only criticism, however, is why only announce this 3 days in advance? :confused:

Bcuz ND left for Europe over the weekend, and the deal or arrangement wasn't solid until yesterday when CND staff got the word to get busy and promote it. This type of situation can occur quite frequently, and it's all determined by the availability of the individuals involved. We've seen this happen with spur-of-the-moment media events where we had little time to organize things, and unfortunately, it means moving at Mach-2 with your hair on fire to get things accomplished, and to alert the community, so we do the best we can under the circumstances.

Enjoy your "Stag Weekend" in Newcastle! Perhaps you can join us next time! :)

My goal is to put a proper calendar together, but this is still new territory for the DJ's and their management...

All the Major DJ's are in great demand by clubs all over the world, who are paying big bucks!

Im still working to cement a business model that will allow CND to compete with the major Real World clubs for the DJ's time.

obviously I need to lock the DJ's well in advance in order to promote the nights properly to the outside world.

In the meantime a few impromptu Gigs can be expected. These gigs are a great opportunity to get a real feel for what it can be like.

you missed the most important thing...to tell people that they have to sign up in the event terminal..I missed that..went up there and all it said was.."you cant enter this area" or something
 
I am up on CND now.. and just gotta say JJ rocks..

YE same with me, I thought the event was BEFORE the DJ show, so I was waiting in the disco listeing to some polish chatting, and the when it was to late I found out that the show was in the event..

well, better luck next time , cus even thou the music was cool, it was no fun with only 5-6 (polish) ppl in the disco ;))
