Yepp Spike they sure are . Met them to and told them to read this thread, but they thought i was a "SCAMMER" :eek: Met one of the guys a couple of days after, and he was pissed at me and said " You could have told us " :eek: And explained they where both more or less total noobs , and his RL partner had been lucky to hit a tower. And they belived they would have their cashcard and money in no time at all. So with this in mind i think we should CRAVE that MA put an end to this, by removing them from the TT until the "issue" is solved. Which will be NEVER.

Casinos ??? Betting companys ? Bingo online. Everywhere where a cash deposit is required to play. They all have no intention to be banks ?
Someone mentioned that we could just TT the cashcard with no loss, from what ive heard we cant. Just because this is supposed to be a RL item.
Finally i just want to add that this behaviour from MA , to avoid / Neglect their own thread about the card update and on top of it all STILL after almost 2 years of the cashcards NOT working STILL have them for sale in the TT. Thats a fucken outrage, pure dam laziness and greed.

I have not words for what i think about this :( Does it have to take 2 + Years to erase this FALSE info from their own official homepage ???
 
It's not two years yet.. a few days left for Mindark to step in and correct the bugged damage on the axe. err.. fix the amps.. err.. nerf the skilling.. err, fix the running speed, err. forget to tell us about some mob changes.. err.. i mean delete the false information from the site.
(sometimes I really get mixed up in my head)

I hated MA for that... now I hate FPC cuz it's their site now... I wonder why didn't Marco said something about this, especially taking in account what he stated about FPC's new marketing strategy .

Cashed the cash card

Humm, well if you purchased the cash card you can cash it in if you send a support case - and they will if you ask politely pay you back the cost you paid for it.

Has any swede been in contact with konsumentverket about this case yet?

It seems I learn more and more about how shady Mindark is by the day... I did know about the cash card scam, but as I grow and learn in EU, I begin to regret ever switching from non-depositor to depositor. Especially since my loot is now considerably worse than it was prior to "investing"... rofl, "investing"... what a joke.

I was under the impression that we were supposed to get good news about Cash Card?

Now all they have to do is stop their marketing people telling everyone its available.
 
Well, now they are only about half-way away from me being a regular depositor again. With the economy, I may not be able to afford the previous amounts, but if they cover the other half of that distance, I may be able to justify *some* amount.
 
:bs:more like do to our ever increasing costs for the new game engine set for release in 2006 May i mean 2007 i mean 2008 i really meant 2011 if were in the mood . We can no longer allow you to remove funds quickly and efficiantly , please read the UELA if you have any further questions regarding this matter .

The issue isn't whether they allow funds to be removed efficiently and quickly, it is that they were falsely advertising an ability to do it.

This is now a corrected issue, and that's all I ever wanted - for them to "man up" and set it straight.

I do hope that they provide a similar service down the road, but that's a moot point for me, as I've never seen enough of my deposits come back to me to warrant a withdrawal in the first place, lol!

It could be said that their prolonged use of marketing hype and their tendency to "overlook" the lack of functionality rises above casual error, and I wouldn't disagree with this. But it doesn't quite rise up beyond a bad business decision that has since been corrected.

Such was the case with Sony, which I've boycotted for more than 7 years now. They went well beyond the line, showing no remorse at all in doing so (or ever so much as attempting to make it right). They'll not get another cent of my hard earned money. Ever.

I mention this because I can understand why you could take this personally. But unless this issue affected you monetarilly, I don't think it deserves getting stressed over.

It would really be nice to get an update from Mindark about the Cash Cards.

I'm sure Payoneer has been considered, but on the off chance they haven't and someone from Mindark actually reads this thread, CHECK THEM OUT!!

They have updated (and resolved) this issue.

Summary (as I recall it):
1) You can no longer buy them.
2) All purchasers will get a refund.
3) They have stopped advertising it.
4) They are still looking at doing this down the road.

This is no longer a live issue, in short.
 


These are the withdrawal methods offered by bwin.

I have used the VISA/ELECTRON method and i have to say that was very easy and quick.

Now where is the problem for MA to implement some of these methods?
 
No news can sometimes be good news. ;)
Because it can mean they are working on something, possibly to do with their MindBank thingo ;)
