Just because I can't help but flog myself more, I tallied up what ET tracked for me.

31 globals since SGA started.

~2900 ped in globals.

Sure, seems impressive. Til I look at my inventory, the fact that I barely have enough on my card right now to make repairs, and can't sell anything that I haven't already - I had to sell stuff I had stored up for a few months, because returns have been shit.
Also, no SGA items in that time.
I mean hell, look at people like Oleg or other campers... they at least get a string of globals (no clue if they profit or not...). I just went through a streak two days ago of nearly 1k peds in ammo before I got a global (those last three on the list).
You can see giant gaps on ET regarding my globals in timeframe... they come in a quick "Fwoosh", and are gone just as quick "Who was that masked man? (that took all my ped)". What you don't see are the 3~6 300~500 ped hunts in between those globals where returns are... dismal.

Oh and gz to Mike for looting that Adj V1 SGA from eviscs... told my friend he shouldn't have stopped camping them...

The Uberloots fell to others who were there for about 2-3 days, so in comparsion to me a rather short time frame; my losses are around 3000 PED+ by now w/o having got a single hof yet, at 5000 PED around I have to quit for first. I hope it will last for around 8 more Apis to overdo the doubleskill event at least.

Still it pisses me off when I camp there for million+ of ammo and someone passes by and grabs something alike a 15k hof or salamander footies. Ofc I'm not cursing the person, but MA and their goddamn loot system that works like a roulette.

That's the other thing. People who are camping mobs are falling into two categories now...
1. Burning shitloads of peds and losing out while random "passerbys" get uberhofs/SGA loots (read, vigi SGA gloves on friends FIFTH DRONE KILLED )
2. Burning so much ped in the long run MA just hands you an "OMFG" SGA loot (look at Stryker and now Mikes SGA discoveries )

I have intentionally NOT kept detailed stats of how much I've spent - it's not on par with burning multiple apis's (if I don't loot something within 1-2 apis, I usually swap back to an UL weapon so save on MU costs), but I know it's well into the 5 digit cost on ammo alone... and if you look, my last hof was in JUNE. I've burned enough since then to pay for TWO ATH's... well, perhaps I did?

That's not so bad result. I lost 3k in just 5 apis and 1 bl1000 run. Haven't had a nerve to continue.

It really happened last night that I got my "OMFG SGA LOOT" - Kobold Thigh Guads (f)

My last HoF was right after VU 10.0 was launched (111 PED), the one before in November (258 PED). Yes, I'm broke.

I already paid up for around 2 1/2 ATHs, or at least nice item loots like Martial Harness / Gloves or Salamander Footies SGA, maybe time to give me some MA

You are right about things you said, but you are missling one crucial point, let me rewrite and Ill underline the missing part / what I corrected

5,000 spend $1/hour $4,000 loot available , still same average return, half the amount between half the people, with jackpot mark still set at 2000$ (paid in ATH to one or few person, exempt from calculation) gives average of $0.40 return/hour.

Get it? And ATHs are a mirage of pristine financial situation.

I would normally deposit without second thought, however given that 500PED lasts only a few hours, the question I've been asking myself is - is this really worth $500+ a month?

I think I'd feel better losing 500$ a month to a casino with rules and transparent game mechanics, rather than this casino in denial.
For now I'll keep my deposits and sell my stuff.
So - gremlin or ghost? hmm...

The answer is no. Its not worth 500$ a month. When i look at the "game" at what it has became in the last 2 years i tell you its not worth a single cent...

In the last weeks i saw nice hofs and discoveries of me and my socm8s and friends so i cant realy complain. Still pedbalance went down even with the most eco and effective setups. Some of the old rules dont seem to apply anymore, some new and interesting nieches opened.

In the forums i see that many players have not included several things in their dreams about SGA. First an foremost, the foodchain remained the same. Its still the same old competition.

I've been playing on and off regularly since 03 up until lastyear.
I do agree with all of you concerning this.
After putting in Average $75 to $100 a week myself.
That is the main reason why
I'm over here offline
