Ok, now we’re down to the heavy hitters, the furious few.
The winning Teams from STAGE 3 have been allocated their new Groups.

These are Groups of FOUR.

Each Team now has THREE MATCHES on the same Moblist, one against each opponent in their Group.
Please note that although this is the Treasure Island Stage some of the Mobs can be found, and scored upon, elsewhere within Calypso.

START POINT:
Treasure Island Castle, The Courtyard.
If you head from the TP to the castle just look for the crowd of eager Hunters and Ultra-efficient Judges.

It's hit me that with my internet availability being somewhat compromised this year, the JUDGES would be the ones needing to her when you have agreed to play your matches; then they can respond as to whether they can make it without asking me for thre Schedule.

Why is USA listed in the text as being Group C but in the chart USA is in group A? Well same for the whole group I mean.

I'd rather have Hiryuu than a bunch of mobs that most of the population of EU can't even kill, never mind global on. I thought you were trying to make the mob lists more accessible?

Where is the problem?

The support mobs are easy and main team should be the cracks anyway :)

Support
Cornundacauda and Combibo can be done by every 1 week old noob.
The others can be done by every average mid level player, well FAPer will make it easyer :)

For the main teams:
Furor and Hogglo are mid level mobs that can be done solo without big problems.

The Sec Ent, well hit hard (if it hit), but in a team with good guns they won´t reach attack range befor killed :)

The mob list looks really nice to me ;)

Previously, a light list was seen as weak. This one should be fun.




How many members are allowed for main this stage? Wasn't specified.

So with the extra variety bonus, does it now work like this?

0 MOBs = 0 points
1 MOBs = 0 points
2 MOBs = 10 points
3 MOBs = 25 points

It might be fun for the teams who have Shadow and Angel all over the place. For the smaller teams it's barely worth showing up.

Three people wearing gremlin or ghost and all three can use equivalent of an amped apis can team kill every mob on the support list. Maybe two people could, depending on evade, HP, and amp type.

Main, well, the challenge of main team mobs. I've solo'd the main mobs before, some with a fapper or two. I don't consider myself in the elite. I don't own Shadow, Angel, or any other super armor.

Right, so it's fine for the big teams but for the small teams who don't have the luxury of those numbers it's going to be ridiculous.

How many people on the Finland or Amethera teams can solo a Globster, a Letomie, or a SEG 2?

WoF is a team competition, no need doing it solo

I believe Finland ended stage 3 leading the pack with a whopping 1030 points...

Maybe you meant to say 'How many people on the Amethera or England teams can solo a Globster, a Letomie, or a SEG 2?' :laugh:

I think the smaller teams have already gracefully left the playing field so to speak (with maybe the exception of Team Amethera :laugh:) and as GoNi has said 'It's a team competion'.

So come on Oleg, man-up a bit. It's stage 4 of the WoF! What do you want... to be carried to the final of the greatest competition in game on pink fluffy clouds?
 
Yeah, I'm sorry Oleg but I like this line-up... Challenging but Doable...

I feel Certain that Wales Main team will tackle Most of the Main team mobs in a team of 4, rather than attempt to Solo any of them. Support team members can also Fap if necessary of course...

And as Clam says, It is Stage 4. It's Supposed to be tough...

This is Correct, Gypsy. Remember that for Variety bonus we're talking about SPECIES. So, if a team get multiple globals on SEGs, including Gen 01's and also higher Gens, this is only 1 mob for Variety Bonus purposes...

For the Full Sweep the team need to score on All TEN mobs, so gen/Maturity Is then a factor...

Dream on, a WoF hunt always costs a shitload of PED.
In last years WoF I calculated around 1000 PED / hunt in support team :D
Well you get loot aswell, so its not pure costs and it may turn into profit if you hit HoF, but you need the 1000 PED beforhand (only ammo, weapons not counted in as I use uL gear)

Do you know how many PED can be blown away using a high DPS gun like a XT or something (Main Team hunters do, that all time)

If you can´t do that, you may be wrong in WoF Main Teams.
If you want do eco hunts, your place is in support team, and there are still options for really eco hunting (Cornundacauda).

Its not the way that every supporter needs to hunt the biggest support mob. Support hunters should hunt the mob they can handle easy, and every point they score counts.

Absolutely every one, who is willing to spent PED for the WoF hunt can take part in a support team using an opallo and pixi or even no armor.

If you are not willing to spent PED how you will reach Firepower, you see the point ????

Unlucky dude :)

Although it is possible to take part in the WoF and contribute to your team without spending a massive amount of ped, or in some cases you don't have to spend anything at all. There are plenty of jobs in a team for players that have little ped or few skills to help their country.... such as ammo runs, fapping, mob herding etc...
Another way for to help ones team are things such as recruitment drives and drumming up support either in game or out. Ad banners for the forum, designing team siggies or just standing around twin saying 'hunt for team Eudoria' (or whoever) would go along way to bolstering ones support ranks... hmm maybe we should of done that...:scratch2:

Commitment to ones team should not be measured in ped :)

When I first read the moblist I thought wow great. But shortly after I wondered how they would affect the smaller teams this early in the stage.

However after reading some of the posts in this thread I believe Hurrikane has made some great choices.

The smaller teams I suppose are in for the experience knowing the chances of them winning are rather remote.

The teams that are knocked out this round would probably not make it much further so in reality they are saved from spending k's. and are best out of the comp now.

I know this may sound a harsh but there can only be one winner.

As someone said WoF is not about eco hunting if you want to win. The more players, DPS and that proverbial luck will win the day. And on a finishing note the more players in the team that luck is improved.

A short response about this Moblist;

I didn't raise the Hogglo maturities, youngs get 8 points.
Furor are way easier than SEG 02's for one less point.
Camping SEG's (both scores) Furor (both scores) or Hogglo give roughly the same points on average (10+5, 9+6, 8+8)

I have 133 Health and I specialise in Longblades... and I've hunted each and every mob on that list. It took two friends helping for Letomie, more for the big SEG's.... but I never had a WoF team beside me.

I don't try to make people spend more, I don't set impossible tasks (learning from past mistakes is a big factor).... But as has been said, this is Stage 4. You all know that by the Final the Mobs will be the hardest available. Stage 4 has to be a challenge in places.

I think tactics will win the day for those teams who can't individually kill SEGs. Getting all the bonuses is only one way to score.

I agree with Hurrikane, the mob list is doable even at average skills in a team and the points can even out... It's about the right tactics...

Does that mean no Dasp, no Warlock, no Evis Gen10 or even worse in the Finals.

BTW, may we see some mobs from other planets on some list as well, or is it restricted to Calypso ?

Whit a so short WoF "season" it's sad to see 1 Land owner hold 1 stage. Why only LA mobs ? We have alot off other mobs...
