So first you break the terms of use by buying stolen PED from a scammer. Then you try to scam some more by making another account, another breach of the terms of use. At this point, don't worry about getting unlocked. Instead, find some other game to play, you're most likely going to be banned for life.

Romania has an checkered past in this game due to the actions of numerous scammers from RO. This does not mean ALL people from RO are scammers, but it was bad enough that, for a while, MindArk had to make getting an account a lengthy process for anyone from RO (requiring passport, address, etc). This was done to deter the guilty individuals, not to be "anti-RO".

Still, two things should have set off alarms in your mind:

1- It was $150 for only $70.
2- You said it came from multiple avatars - not 1 avatar.
 
Sorry you got locked but never safe to try to use blackmarket channels in games or in life.

As he said - the person offered to sell them in RL, it was someone he didn't know (my guess - at an internet cafe or the like).

Second question - that is the big question, isn't it? That is the entire problem.

As the OP said when asked for a name - he was given PED from several avatars, not one (I'm guessing that he wasn't given all 1500 from the same avatar, but the guy logged into each one in turn to add it all up).

Fourth question - see "Second question".
 
If it was indeed in RL, then the OP is in a unique position to take this issue to law enforcement for a criminal investigation.

he give me 200-300 ped at 2 days, total ~1500 ped and after he give me 1500 ped i give him $70. this is the story.
I will never buy ped like this. Next time I will protect my ass.

next time... take a pic of the guy handing out the peds... and be sure to send it to MA along with his name if you can... and where he's selling it. Maybe MA can talk to the police and police can get your money back.

Oh, rest assured that they log every time PEDs change hands in game. They know names, otherwise the OP of this thread wouldn't now be the proud owner of a locked Entropia account.

But yeah, if the OP has the RL name of the person they interacted with for this transaction, I'm sure MA would be just as interested as the police.

Well, for the best bet in getting your account unlocked, do the following:

Submit a support case regarding the lock, explain your situation and let them know that you are still new and that the guy took advantage of your ignorance. Offer to do whatever you can to help them expedite their investigation. If they ask you for any information, don't hesitate to provide it - just cooperate and worth with MA. This could take a while, it has in the past (https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/...20-am-i-getting-scammed-200k-help-please.html).
 
Possible the OP owns all the avatars in question and got his main account locked with all his scammed ped on it. :D
 
Ah some of my good freinds from RL and Ingame are from Romania. People just dont like scammers.
But if you havent done anything wrong, then you shouldnt be worry much.
Best is to cooperate and provide detail information about what exactly happened.
It will clear your name and prevent others to make the same mistake.
 
sorry i just have to do this briefly.......:rofl: and not at the expense of the OP but this is just hilarious how ppl do shady business and think they can get away with it. Either way I wish you gl on coming back online to EU & next time just think twice or u cud lose more than just $70 :D.

Well first off; Its strictly forbidden to buy Entropia PED for IRL cash from anyone els buy MA allowed resellers or MA themselves.
And you didn't! Think what you want for this, but if you wanna save yourself some time and worry you can start believing me here.

Robin hood should take money from those really big banks. or Greedy corperations. Those guys run the show.

$70 for $150 bucks.... Dude. seriously. does that shit happen in real life. This isn't monopoly money. The ped has a exchange rate. No one is going to give you double your money unless your winning at a casino. Even then your doing something. but for nothing.... come on dude.
 
I guess you'll have to file a police report against the person you bought those peds from if you want any personal justice against the person(s) responsible for your permanently locked account.

But let me guess, you neither have their name, number or contact details?
 
The only thing you can do really is try to persuede MA that this guy conned you, that you are new, ignorant and didn't realise that you were breaking the law (terms of use/TOU). Fully cooperate with them & they may allow you to make another account if you're lucky.

However it pans out you've lost $70.

Well that is unless he brides children ingame by giving them IRL stuffs and ingame items to do things with him and get caught IRL with it, then it gets out ingame/on the forum and both get banned.
Then you wont be allowed back ever again, no matter how hard you try.
So basically, what you did is because you were a ignorant newbie. just tell MA that and they might forgive you, but you need to give them all info they want, names, places, races, peds, items and if they so desire your ID. :)

Now think about it how easy it is to get banned few people :). Scammer gets flawed cash - goes into Twin/Nea's and drops all the cash on the ground in 50ped stacks :). Newbiess pick it up - voila many bans :). You may say that in this situation MA should not ban them.
If not - scammer could do the same using few computers (with proxy i guess to trick ip trace) and drop in public place few stacks and pick them up (at least most of them). If MA does not ban many "newbies" picking up the peds from the ground then scamer just cleared the cash - of course its suspicious that most of them are new accounts :).

To the OP:
1) you can convince MA to unlock your account under this condition: they will substract 1500peds (+some fees mayby) from you (and probably give them back to proper owner). I see no other way of unlocking you (and its still doubtfull becasue you created second account - another rule break).
2) you can change IP if it is banned (and of coure use other name when creating account - your sisters mayby ;)) but it seems that this is against EULA - not traceble, not possible for MA to detect. Decision is up to your concience.

He broke the Terms of Use by buying PED outside of the ingame system, therefore they dont have to let him back at all.
 
You broke the Terms and you should have been aware of the rules. Im sure you check a box or clicked something saying you read them and understand them. And if you make another account with out MA knowing then you break an other one. Good luck, be well, cya. :wave:

To be specific, from the Terms of Use:

11. Breach Agreement

Without limiting MindArk's legal remedies, if You fail to comply with the restrictions and limitations of this Agreement or the agreements it incorporates by reference, MindArk may immediately terminate this Agreement, with or without prior notice to You.

You also agree that MindArk has the right to lock Your Entropia Universe Account in case of suspected Agreement violation during the period of investigation of the said violation.

Termination of this agreement on this ground may also result in Termination or Ban of Your Entropia Universe Account and termination of the EULA agreement. If Your Account was Terminated for any reason, MindArk is under no obligation to allow You to register a new Entropia Universe Account in the future.

Not to be completely on his side at all.

If there was no mention of the reason avatar CCTheif was giving avatar Locked/OP in the in game chat, to support, etc. How would they know he purchased peds out of the game?

Peds and items change hands many times without equaling out, in either TT value or MU value. For example team hunt with items, you split items and give peds out for nothing in return. Loaning items ... I believe someone is still missing a ModMerc and there aren't any locked account there? General graciousness of some ubers giving noobs stuff/peds...

If all the accounts paying the innocent were brand new and so was the locked account then i could see them being suspicious of all the account in question, especially if all the avatars logged in from the same IP (internet cafe). If your account was a little older and you could prove your identity and continue to plea your innocence, maybe an unlock with the peds still could occur. But FPC does read the forums so you have pretty much admitted guilt and I would guess maybe you even told support about the arrangement outside of the game...

Perhaps this is a very sufficient example of why they don't want to have quest items with value... People with too much free time and not enough money
