I argue, that in fact, the scenerio is programmed to be winnable and my evidence is not only the strutural nature of the of the environment and the relationships between the materials and equipment available, for which I gave a simple example, but also the fact that there are large numbers of people who do indeed master the scenario at every level. Most of the advice given here backs up... that in the programming there are the keys to success using the materials and equipment available on planet. It is the same scenario for everyone and it provides the same opportunity for success or failure. So everyone can win.

To the OP: If you want to be a successful player... the ultimate set of questions to pose at every level of advancement... no matter what the game is and indeed both for real or alternate lives... Why is this person sucessful and that person not?

This is tough survial alternate life scenario played out with real money and it gets harder and the risks are greater as it should be... as you progress... but in the end it ulitmately winnable... as thousand of sucessful players have demonstrated and contiue to demonstrate... even to the point of having your own planet...

But it is... programmed for everyone to win... your the one off on a tangent of with a bizarre theorectical argument... that because people necessarily don't play to win or take that opportunities that are built into the system for the reasons that I pointed out... that somehow everyone can't win.

Lots of good advice already. I just want to add 2 things:
- Find a good mentor before you start hunting. Soon after you start hunting, you won't be able to get a mentor, so do that first. (if it's not too late).
- Don't expect to win money. Focus on what you think is fun.

Actually it's not impossible. Theoretically.
I know it's not the case today and never will be, but theoretically it's not impossible, that MAs profit and expenses could be lower than the income from the Ad system and interests of the peds they 'hold' for us.

Oh, if you do go hunting and you get a lot of animal muscle oil or some other similar common item... Before TT'ing it (evil evil TT) check with your soc mates, other people around town, and the buy orders on auction to see if others need them. The less people TT crap, the more lower level players can afford things to skill up.

If nothing else, this game is a casino.

It is not designed for anybody to win specifically, but for everyone to lose just a bit. However, statistical variance makes it such that some people win more than they lose, while others lose it all . . . kind of like blackjack- people do win when they play, just not often.

So, i have deposited for my first time and i just put 20 bucks in. and i had ped from sweat.

I have about 225 ped, just asking the community whats the best way to spend my money i put into the game? what armor should i buy, how do i use the auction correctly with all the different mark ups and watnot. IM CONFUSED??? hahahahaha.

for new players, I suggest you go start grind small mobs. without armours and fap. Just Opalo , you can kill a lot daikibas.

but hunting is very tough to get lucky. Mining is better, only use probes , lez say 10 ped a day-> 20 probes... you can learn it slowly... the losses you made will be easy fixed up by sweat 1 K sweat. If you can find Force Nexus, you can sell your sweat more easy.

What ever you do -> dont spend your peds on gears ( armours,fap and TP chips) . 220 ped is just enough for you to play with TT mining gears. It will last forever. if you keep on spending like 10 ped a day.

get some higher lvl hunters as your friends. in case your claim got surrounded by tough mobs, you gonna need them


usualy you have 60 min to extract it.

See this sound like a great idea, right now im grinding on dakibas, and i went through 2200 shots. im having fun but i know for sure im making less then 50% of my ped back hahal its watever though i understand its gonna happen.

But that mining idea sounds fun if i knew wat to buy and wat i was doing, i guess i could read a guide
