FIXED ISSUES

Auto-use Issues
  • Auto-use of VSE Mk 1 is no longer aborted when extraction begins
  • Auto-use tool now works for mining finders

Chat Issues
  • Fixed issue where you could not select/copy text
  • Fixed issue in Society chat where the “#” character was shown as “??”

Team Issues
  • It is no longer possible to select more than one loot mode when forming a team
  • Fixed issue where key presses was ignored in Team Settings UI if opened after the team was created
  • Added Kick team member to context menu
  • If a team is already created, cursor mode is no longer activated when the Team Settings GUI opens

Navigation Issues
  • Fixed issue with auto-running being aborted if you start it by double-clicking on the sky and then move the mouse
  • Jumping should no longer stop auto-run
  • Rotating direction with right mouse button should no longer stop auto navigation
  • Now you will still be moving if you use left + right mouse button to move and release one of them

GUI Issues
  • Fixed issue with a friend being shown as offline even if online, if you have dragged out a status bar
  • Map can again be placed at the far left/right of the screen
  • Fixed issue with strange red lines in Land Area Welcome Message
  • Tab and Esc keys should now work correctly in Society log GUI

Miscellaneous Issues
  • Skill gain and global HoF now have different effects
  • Fixed issue where changing graphics options could cause item icons to no longer show the item

KNOWN ISSUE

Auto-use of mining extractors does not work properly when “Queue Use Tool Action when Reloading” is enabled in Options-Controls

Fix Miwak and Wolverine Hope areas please!

And the TP's and outposts at Wolverine Hope and Miwak have not been fixed. They're floating in the air still so avoid them at all costs.

Other than that issue, I think they're slowly putting together the game once again.

Yup, FPC have borked the auto-use for hunting.

Although, it is only borked if you aim at a mob. If you aim at the sky / ground / trees etc it works fine.

I don't have selected "Queue use tool action when reloading" and I have no problem with auto-fire of a weapon :scratch2:

Critical Issues - Top Priority

* Friends list NEEDS to have higher capacity, about 200 should be sufficient for now. Currently its only 80
* We NEED offline messaging abilities and with that ability we need the option of viewing the messages recieved while offline or not. Selecting "no" shouldnt delete them, instead save them in the message center for later viewing
* Too many "no loots" and too much bad loot
* The TP and Outpost at Wolverine and Miwak are flying in the air and are impossible to reach from the ground
* VU Update issues seem to be somewhat common where the installation process freezes or does not install correctly
* Queue option on FAPs (possibly only (L) FAPs?) still doesn't work
* Alot of item busy messages, this is a serious issue, mainly with fap/weapon switching, usually a matter of millisecond which getting me killed or makes hunting or PKing harder.
* "Healing is diminished while moving" is way too sensitive and is a death sentence in PvP. We need to be able to reasonably heal ourselves while in combat. Increasing the maximum allowed movement speed for a maximum heal to somewhere between the walk and run speed should fix the problem
* All of the combined Chat Box & PM bugs (see below)
* The lootable PvP warning gone (again)



Sounds

* Remove the global sound from when we get a skill gain rank increase and use something else.
* UR125, Vivo & Hedoc FAPs still have no sound
* DOA RockJacker gun damage/sound sometimes goes out of sync
* RockJacker ME, Jungle Stalker, and other BLP gunslose firing sound when using Auto mode. We sometimes only hear about 30% of shots fired
* We need to be able to enable or disable the sound from the controls in game, not just the client loader
* Most players want a more realistic sound when an avatar takes damage instead of a simple "beep" like now.


Graphics

* In Windows Mode we arent able to adjust Brightness, Contrast, or Gamma
* In Day cycle, white terrain around Solfias and Senga are too bright and arent viewable on many PCs regardless of graphics settings. Its all just pure white with no contrast on the terrain.
* You cant see avatars by "naked eye" past 50-60m
* In many area (Boreas, Titan war's crater, Osere) fog is a pain because it is way too bright which means we can't use long ranged weapon properly.
* Graphical issue at the golf spot (mountains area) there are no texture and we can fall off the ground.
* Volumetric effects makes us lag alot, the smoke coming out of the rig makes my fps drop to 5, watching a teleporter does the same, mining claims dropping fps because of the effect with smoke and rocks coming out of the ground, etc.
* Hundreds of trees and stones became "Non solid" again
* Tons of graphical bugs and glitches, like flickering and/or flying/rotating
* Butterfly animation for fruit and fly animation for dung re-introduced - perhaps with one for stones stones. The added darkness and more vegetation makes it harder to spot
* Whip animation stopped working since VU10.2
* In large areas with light fog, on high Shading have a white and heavy fog
* In some areas it is impossible to see during night. On some others (especially beaches), the light on mid day is pure white
* No sound, no animation on Vivo + Hedoc FAPs
* Some images (in Inventory/Storage) are really big, some are too small, there isnt much consistency. (Isis HL6 image is bigger than Opalo)
* Streaming audio in apartments seems to act weird
* Apartments also seem to have some sort of strange invisible wall bug on occassion where all walls dissappear
* Some people's screen freezes temporarily when a mob spawns or a new green dot appears on radar
* Lots of fog related issues with lower-end system, perhaps we need a way to turn it off. Example: the area of East Scyllia Mountains and Fort Troy are foggy if the shaders are medium/low, and unfoggy if high or very high
* For some people the ad screens are too bright to read
* For some, a lot of ingame ads aswell as the signs by the TP at The Treasure Island just displays boxes instead of text


Avatar Movement & Navigation

* There is no way to disable the navigate with left click (i can disable the single click but double still makes me move) thats an issue with my gameplay.
* There should be an option for turning off the "click to go to location" thingy (have not found one so I assume there is none)... really annoying as I use both mouse buttons sometimes when hunting and not using auto-user...
* 3rd person view has shortened weapon range
* When you walk back holding the right button aswell you can't fire a weapon but you can walking back holding the left key
* In PvP, when clicking on someone's health bar to shoot, the process of moving to and acquiring the target is (and always has been) too slow
* walking down hill in some places has a gliched and much slower movement..I.E. walking from PA mall Twards the PA tp
* If you auto approach a mob by right clicking you start moving towards the mob until its in range as normal.... but after 3 or 4 seconds of running your screen starts bouncing like its on a space hopper.... its not nice (no bouncing if you manually run)
* When using both mouse buttons to move, the currently equipped weapon/tool is activated
* Can't aim at flying mobs directly above



User Interface

* Trades do not always go through when you click the check mark and we have to re-initiate the sale
* Its annoying that we have to reset the map size every time we use it, both the main map and when using the TP chip
* Map, Loot Windows, etc cant be dragged to the edge of the screen
* Some outposts arent recorded on the map or have too small of a dot on the map
* If if we have previously turned it on, the LA map should always appears when we open the map. Currently it has to be turned on each time you open the map, at least when opening a deed it does
* When creating an icon on the screen and adding a keyboard number for it the numbers and letters on the icon are hardly visible, and they are wrong and switch all the time even though the aligned number is still the right one, it just shows a wrong one
* Inventory/Storage/Etc panels do not remember their position on the screen from the previous useage
* Fonts are not consistent. Some fonts are huge, some are tiny. Font used on TT, etc panel is not very readable
* The numbers in the loot window are way too small now, and have no contrast against a light background
* Stackable font has no more shadow, it is not possible to read a stack size on Animal Muscle Oil, unless you can read white on white
* Opening some panels (Inventory/HoF/Etc) in aim mode enable the cursor. Can be fatal if opening the Inventory to see loot when shooting: the right click opens a menu instead of shooting
* Radar should always be displayed on top of loot windows, this is especially important while in PvP areas



Equipment -Tools, Weapons, Etc

* Auto-use for guns sometimes seem to fire one extra time after you shut it off
* It should be possible to switch items while auto-use is toggled on, can cause big problems when shooting and in need of fapping
* Rockets need a larger area effect like before VU10.0
* Death from Rocket Launcher or Grenade should result in the avatar flying in the air like before.
* The reload of the HL15 is bugged. Reload speed is 50/51 RELOAD even at level 100
* While sweating, Targets are lost too easily
* Rocket launchers self inflict dmg in non PVP ares after teleporting
* Queuing broken on Vivo + Hedoc FAPs, Isis LR32(L)
* For some people, the Queue Use Tool Ation when Reloading isnt reliable.
* (L) BP books and boxes appear to be no longer customizable despite the (C) in the title



TP Chips

* When TP:ing a relatively short distance I get sent further away than intended
* When TP'ing we sometimes end up underground, swimming
* TP chips arent always as accurate anymore
* TP chip/jump animation needs to come back, current one is not cool
* We sometimes TP into something & get stuck. It’s also a problem for mobs spawning. The spawning of everything should check on the server and if something is in the way, the coordinate should change a little bit for spawning
* When TP chipping and you click on a TP, you get "bounced" back to where you were or farther away because simply selects the TP instead of selecting a coordinate to TP to.
* There is a zone at the "energize" button which both is active on map aswell as activating the teleportation. If you accidently press in that zone, the target will change to the estimated location of the energize button at the same time as the teleportation starts, which will cause you to get sent off as far as possible in southwest direction. (This is an old 8.6 or something bug that has returned). To solve this make sure that no part of the "energize" button is on the map and that there is no area where map and the button area overlap. Preferably a few pixels apart to prevent accidents during lag


Storage & Inventory

* If you drop an item into storage you need to get the cursor almost pixel correct for it go where you want put it. A slight miss-alignment means it shoots to the top of storage. A solution is to draw a square where the item should drop in storage... the square is green if enough room , red if not enough
* Can’t take out more than 20K PED at a time from PED Card
* Inventory and Storage load very slowly
* Very difficult to move items in Inventory/Storage, items seems attracted on first line
* Refined and unrefined enmatter should be 2x2 max otherwise its very hard to sort in storage. ore works fine, but i.e. angel scales: 3x3??? and what about Typo, Magerian and Antimagnetic oil... 1x3...
* BP book sizes changing with view (should be 2x2 ALWAYS)



Chatbox & Private Message

* Use Item causes chat box to lose focus, big problem when using AC
* Chat box and PM box loses focus at random times while typing. Possibly caused by avatars entering the radar (like old scope bug)
* With the main chat channels, the "read" selections are still not remembered by the system and they reset with every login
* Occasionally cant use the write to soc, team, trade, etc channels
* Pressing enter to close main chat doesn't work
* The maximum character limit for a PM is too small now
* When you make the chat window as small as possible, none of the buttons (write channel/view channel) can be clicked anymore
* The lose chat focus bug when new window opens is still there (for example while TPing). A new issue in the bug is that you lose anything you typed
* Holding down an arrow left or right key in chat or PM doesn't repeat. It will only go back one letter.
* When the chat box comes into focus, sometimes it does not adjust position correctly and the area that we type in is below the edge of the screen.
* PM boxes should be less translucent in order to increase the contrast of the text
* If you press CTRL+Left Arrow or CTRL+Right Arrow, the cursor should jump back or forward one word at a time instead of one letter. If you click CTRL+Backspace then it should delete one word at a time
* When the chat box loses focus for whatever reason either intentional or unintentional it should not delete the text that we were in the process of writing
* We want to be able to select which chat channel to type in before opening the chat.
* Clicking the screen to take focus away from chat (PM or main) makes the avatar move if you have the click-to-move option enabled (should either let us close the chats properly or don't count the first 'click out' as a movement click)
* Suggestion: Perhaps it makes more sense to go back to a less complicated chat box



Misc

* People still get stuck in Teleporters from time to time
* Teleporter occasionally is "too far away" when it’s actually not or you simply cant select it
* Sometimes in order to operate a Teleporter we have to go inside of the service center or off of the map and come back before we can use it.
* Agility attribute seems to be nerfed since avatars run too slowly now, we need a speed increase for running
* Edges of CND domes can’t be reached
* In Akmuul, common ores/enmatter such as Lyst and Oil need to be removed from the PvP area and replaced with rare ones, otherwise there is little point in going there to mine. Loootable PvP needs to always be a prime mining area.
* Mulmun mob spawn maturity in Akmuul should be set higher or new spawns with higher maturity should be introduced in Akmuul
* Booths still dont work
* Small mobs like chirpys health bar do not decrease (or are lagged) when you shoot them. The damage goes down and is shown in chat box, but the health bar is always slow behind
* Mobs falling through the ground when you kill them. Sometimes only their feet or arms are sticking above ground. Sunken mobs cant be looted if you forget to drag the health bar
* Rippersnapper seem to have bad AI
* On various spawn near water (Malcruentor, Mulaak'f..) alot of them ends up drowned which is a big frustration point for those who are hunting them
* Faucervix are too large and cause problems due to how they attack
* For some people, running Microsoft Excel while in EU interferes with the copy and paste functionality. The clipboard loses what is saved just after Ctrl+C is pressed. (Office 2000 running on Windows XP Pro)
* Items in apartments are very slow to load
* Unknown what order of key strokes causes it but often our avatars start automatically jumping up and down or moving in a certain direction and they won’t stop until the corresponding key is pressed. It usually happens while typing and the chat loses focus
* Mobs get stuck on trees far too often
* when you try to loot a mob while you're dead it disapear right away
* Please see this thread (link) for bugs related to Apartments, Estates, and Housing: VU10.2 Housing/Apt/Estate Furnishing/Decor bugs.
* Oyster TP is inaccessible
* Honuri (and probably a few other places): Double names on map
* All malls need to have a teleporter on the 4th floor

Did anyone tried to use the auto use feature for mining yet?:scratch2:

Does it drop a bomb as soon as the reload bar for the finder is filled or after the finder window(with the searching+result) is closed?

If you find a claim and have auto use feature enabled, does it still drop a bomb?

Hopefully someone can test these because I'm at work :(

Seriously?!? Isn't this the SECOND update that has left those TPs/Outposts completely useless? Shouldn't it be a pretty simple fix?

Umm not for me,Unfortunately its just as unreliable as its always been :(
Infact when I turned it on and it didnt even start it also made the hotkey unusable.

and my mouse mapping just doesn't work anymore no matter what i do :scratch2:

To drop once every 10-15 seconds was hardly an effort.I would have much preferred they actually got the initial concept working properly first.

Good girl Bertha, your learning, now let me explain something. :D

Skill gain makes you stronger and more skilled so you can hunt bigger creatures,
use stronger weapons. Make new weapons, tools, furniture.
Or when mining you can dig deeper for those fun shining rare ores or enmatters.

Global hof, makes your ped card fatter, so you can buy more ammo, better weapons, new oil for your machine. Ehm, a new shirt, hat, pants, shoes, dress, underwear, armour, knifes, swords, table, bed, chair, an estate, shop or planet ... bla bla bla bla bla ...

Yes seriously the TP's and outposts at Wolverine Hope and Miwak are still up in the air, making them completely useless. As for the fix, I would hope that its as simple as moving a few things down to the ground. (Just a change in the elevation (Z) axis.)

so maybe that's what needs to be adressed in 10.2.2.. fixing the TP's that are unsafe at the moment. (So send in those Support cases..)

As far as improvements go might I suggest a feature so that you can type in someones name to add them to your friends list. It would have to still require the other player to accept the friends list add, so I guess you would need an offline messaging system to do this (otherwise it wouldn't be as useful).

Overall though your still doing a pretty good job MA, keep it up. VU 10 and 10.1 were pretty bad times for you guys, but since then I have seen an improvement.
